Walking Giant Clams! Giant Clam Conservation in Samoa

Tucked away in the little village of Savaia is an amazing community led marine protected area with a Giant Clam reserve with more Clams than I've ever seen! I ask why we need to be projecting these giants and why our actions are driving their decline.

In doing some research on giant clams in Samoa, I came across your post which was really interesting. However, just for clarification that the big island of Samoa is called Savaii but unsure of the name of the village that you visited was it Vailoa?
