    Hailing from the esteemed Thomas family, renowned for their contributions to Mauritian music, the brothers bring a wealth of experience and passion to every note. With a career spanning over two decades, they have solidified their status as jazz pioneers in Mauritius and captivating audiences worldwide.
    "Segazz" isn't just an album; it's a joyous celebration of unity and musical exploration. From the infectious energy of Sega to the timeless allure of jazz, each track pulsates with an irresistible charm, beckoning listeners to join the festivities with a simple call: "Anou Al Zwé" - Let's play!
    Crafted with meticulous precision, "Segazz" showcases not only the exceptional talent of the Thomas Brothers but also a stellar lineup of collaborators from Mauritius and beyond. From co-composer Jean Alain Clency to the legendary Linley Marthe, the innovative sega pioneer Menwar, Alain L'Amour, Sergio Marchand, Nation and acclaimed artists: The Zawinul Syndicate's Paco Sery, Mike Rajamahendra, Thomas Gromaire and Reunion island's Frédéric Piot, each artist lends their unique touch to this enchanting blend of genres.
    The engineering for this project was expertly handled by Yann Noël at Midilive Studio in Villetaneuse, France. Then remastered for this special release by our engineer Neil Combstock, with final touches applied by the talented local prodigy Asheel Tymun at TheStudio, "Segazz" promises an immersive auditory experience like no other. With breathtaking solos, intricate rhythms, and the unmistakable sound of the ravanne, listeners are transported to the heart of Mauritian-infused jazz.
    And last but certainly not least, the album boasts stunning new cover art crafted by the gifted local collage artist Chloé Ip, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Mauritian-infused jazz.
