    Hi, thank you for the amazing video. When you say that the bordered principal minor, H2>0, do we calculate the determinant of H2 and see if this is greater than 0?

    Thank you sir! Can I ask a question? Usually, we say a matrix is positive definite by proving all of its leading principal minors are greater than 0. So how could we say a bordered hessian matrix is positive definite by having a negative determinant?

      Utility will be maximum (negative definite) if
      |H2| > 0
      And minimum (positive definite) if
      |H2|
