on school shootings... those kids learn how... by watching television... by watching their parents... and... thinking that violence is a solution, not a problem
at the same time... bombs continue to fall on the people of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.... organized violence that has become... not only acceptable... but glorified in our society...
want to stop school shootings?... the best place to start is at home... teaching... personal responsibility for our own life... and... the golden rule

in short, Happiness is accepting and appreciating ones life regardless of any positive or negative situation. having said that, Happiness is to find a reality or the truth. to find the truth, you need to recognize awareness which is always within since we born and 24hrs. stay connected with it with the help of meditations consistently.

A probable cause for the reason the study came out that that peoples ability to empathize was increased, but their prejudices and aggression was not decreased. Is that in the West's view of Compassion is generally thought to be a synonym for Empathy. As such the study's participants weren't practicing compassion but Empathy. Additionally, empathy is the imagination of how you may feel in another persons place, but this relies on you activating your prejudices. Also, Empathy is the same tool you would use to plan how to harm someone, as you would imagine how you would destroy yourself if you were in their situation. As such Compassion is not this. Compassion is to be with the suffering, without pushing or pulling it away, but to just see it for what it is and to have with that a motivation to be of benefit to all sentient being with out bias, with yourself also included in the set of all sentient beings.
