Hey girl! I wanted to share something with you about period tracking apps that I just recently learned. The apps assume that you ovulate on day 14 of your cycle when in reality it varies for most women between day 14 and 18. That can seriously change your fertile window. I would highly suggest that you start tracking your Basal Body temp in your app and using the ovulation test strips. I know you don’t want to become obsessed but at the same time it’s really good to be aware of what is happening in your body.
Audrey Suzzane ahhhh such a great point! Super super important. I have a hunch that I don’t ovulate at day 14, so the hubby and I have been still trying 2-4 days after the end of my app “fertility window” just in case lol
TTC is hard and can be emotionally draining, especially when your period is late for so long...only to get your hopes up for nothing :( maybe it’s just me

My first time getting pregnant is very similar to yours. My husband and I just decided to see what happens and it happened really fast. One thing that I was really confused about was that my symptoms were very similar to my period symptoms. The only difference is that my boobs hurt really bad. I took a dollar tree pregnancy test and it was spot on. I would highly recommend them over the really high priced ones. I also had a friend who used them and for every one of her children and it was right every time. I thought your video was very informative and helpful. Thank you for sharing! 💜💗
I've newly discovered your channel, and am really enjoying your videos - so funny and honest. When talking about pregnancy tests I think you mean the more expensive ones are More sensitive so they can detect HcG at lower quantities (and therefore tell you you are pregnant sooner!)

Period trackers are fun for tracking pms/acne etc during a period but is not good for ttc. It automatically assumes a woman ovulates at day 14, which is not the case. You might still have a 28-30 day cycle but won't ovulate until day 16 or later. If you try to time intimacy and stop too early you might miss out. Track basal body temperature AND cervical mucus to know for sure.
Love this! We are TTC and although my degree has a lot of do with this topic I still learn new things all the time! I was definitely the one who was obsessed with tracking, but I’m ready to just relax and let it happen.

I am using period tracker which estimates that ovulation happens approximately 14 days before my next period. My periods have always been regular 28 days before i became sexually active and now its 29-30 days. I always relied on the app to gauge ovulation but last month I bought kits and started tracking. The app showed ovulation will happen on day 17 but through testing i got my peak at CD 13 night. Am not relying on the app anymore. Am 10DPO today hoping i get a BFP after 2 recurrent miscarriage 😢

Nice video! I believe the Amazon tests are the same ones that the doctors use and for ovulation tests you need to make sure that the test line is *darker then the control line. That means you should ovulate within 24ish hours if it is not darker then you are not truly ovulating. The other thing with the Amazon test strips is make sure not to leave the strip in the urine too long because that can possibly give you a false positive. I believe you need to dip them for 3 seconds (no longer). P.s. the Amazon ovulation tests are awesome definitely would suggest them if you decide to go that route. The only way I got pregnant was through ovulation test and a certain sex position.

It took us over two years to get pregnant. We now have a 7 month old baby boy . We had did all testings for fertility and all came normal. We would then calculate ovulation and everything.. and then we kinda gave up and stopped stressing about it.. about a month before we got pregnant. We were out, i had a glass of wine or two and that’s when we got pregnant. Lol and one thing i did do that people had recommenced was not to pee right after sex and leave you’re legs up in the air LOL so maybe that helped?! Just sharing our experience;) Sending you baby vibes!! It will happen with Gods timing 🙏🏽❤️
Use ovulation tests because I documented everything on my app but the ovulation predictions was way off... it’s easy to read ovulation tests lol look it up

Remember that sperm lives in the tubes 5 days up to a week so if you have sex say when you finish your period you can get pregnant if you ovulate early sometimes you can have sex and get pregnant a few days later because sperm lives for a week

If you are still struggling to conceive one of my good friends said she tried this drink that promotes and helped balance your gut. She said it can make a huge impact on helping to conceive. I don't know if it really helps or not but it doesn't hurt to try. Let me know if you'd like anymore information.
I think women should know sometimes it’s not your body that’s the problem it could also be your partner has a low sperm count, or that your egg is rejecting his sperm because egg cells either accept or reject certain sperm cells. It’s a strange biology
You shouldn’t be on here giving all of this incorrect advice. Apps can not tell you when you ovulate or when you are fertile. The only true way to know is by temping.

The app I used is called Flo ! So helpful :) it worked after 3 months of ttc. And I kept trying to drink a lot of water.

I use the Flo app and Kindara app to track my cycle, cervical mucus and temperature. I highly recommend!
