    Hey Parth,
Recently lot of immigration changes have happened over in Canada and UK, making them more attractive for higher education + ease of work permit/ PR later on.
Has US become highly exaggerated as a study destination? Especially for those engineering majors that are not IT, Software, Civil related? Perhaps students have a better shot in career in other countries?
Been thinking over it these past few months, would like to hear your take on this.
In addition, given the current changes, could you make a video of engineering opportunities in UK/ Canada? (A virtual talk with a colleague there, perhaps?)
Either way, thanks for the video! It was insightful.

Let me give a different spin to it. Been here in the state side for 7 years now. Core company. Living the best life.
    1. Racism - non existent. RUclips desi always wants to add a spin to it. US is the least racist country.
    2. Study hard- this is the country which will give you the best chance to succeed. For that work your ass off.
    3. Explore/ indulge US culture- most desis don’t do that. They stay in their desi shell ( look at any RUclips desi wanker video). Be different , learn , grow and explore. Most ppl won’t tell you that but it’s one of the big ingredients for you to succeed.

About the part where you talk about immigration, how did you get a job for 2 weeks (to apply for an SSN) right when you came to the US? Because international students cannot work in the US (except inside university campus jobs) unless they have finished studying for 1 year, right?

By room-mates did you mean they shared the same room (1 room, 2 beds; which the majority of Indians there do) or 1 house and 2 seperate rooms?
Can I find other international students (Non-Indians) who are willing to do the first; 1 room, 2 beds?
99% of the times I see Indians only sharing rooms with other Indians. (and sub groups on top, like Telugu-Telugu!)
PS: Guys, your MS in CS class will be 80% Indians anyway, and unless you're getting out of your comfort zone and meeting others, you'll never meet or interact with other people. Mind you that in most cases, your co-workers will also be Indians later.

    Hi Parth ,
I'm confused should I go for spring 2022 or fall 2022?
N also want to know if University of Texas Dallas/north-eastern University/UCLA which will be good one to choose for ms in CS?
If you can help me with the priority between these two question options to choose ...it would be helpful.

    • @YoloLollipops
      @YoloLollipops 3 года назад +1

I had similar doubts. Only disadvantage of spring is that you won't be able to do a summer internship as you need be in the US for 9 months (then only you can apply for CPT). Only exemption here I believe is if the university is providing you the opportunity (as per curriculum) then you wouldn't need to apply for CPT. (Also if you plan on doing research, then you'd be in the university itself under a prof. so you wouldn't need to apply for CPT..so another exemption there)
Other than that Fall is obviously the better choice! Since you are going for MSCS, UCLA is a good choice. Lot of job opportunities around there.
If you believe you need more experience, or are a fresh grad.. go for Northeastern, their Co-op programs are the best.
Overall I would still prefer UCLA
