Quad Channel is Server Architecture like Xeon/Gold/Platin with CPUs that have 4 or more Memory Channels. Usually these kind of CPUs (What i use in Servers Intel Xeon Gold 6348 have 8 Channel) have more than 4 Channel and more than 1 Memory Controller. The CPUs you guys using for gaming have usually only 1 Memory Controller and 2 Channels. These CPUs cannot do Quad-Channel.
Still too vague because you must also take memory ranks and density into account. With single rank you're looking at relatively poor performance compared to dual and quad rank per channel.
Here after scratching my board and now only have one channel working on my z490. Thanks for the benchmark...now wondering if I should buy a new board or just upgrade. 😐
First of all, let me say that a good test result was obtained. I just need to note that Intel and AMD desktop processors do not support quad-channel. What you wrote quad-channel 4x8GB is actually dual-channel quad rank. While it doesn't make a huge FPS difference in games (like the difference between Single-channel and Dual-channel), it's possible to see this difference in specific applications. This test is actually a very good proof of how much difference FPS makes in games if the correct use of Ram tables on the motherboard...
Umm do you even know what quad channel even is? 9900k and Z370 are dual channel. Using 4 sticks of ram is 4 sticks in 2 channels, two per channel……only hedt and other workstations have 4 channel
I call this (DDR5)integrated channels, as memory channels are the links between your RAM and your CPU these memory channels are actual wires that exist on/in the motherboard.
Are you sure it's quad channel? The specs of this motherboard say it's only dual channel board so these benchmarks are pretty damn useless since it's not a true quad channel
Nazdar počuvaj mam i9 10900f procesor a normalne my šieo na 4.6 ghz občas skočili vyššie niekedy ku 4.1 GHZ a teraz z ničoho nič neviem prečo nie stale ale skoči mi drop na 3.5 GHZ a hned zataz na procesor 100% to prečo neaky update na windows aleco čo to moze robit pozeral som procesinna pozadi naviac a nič
To netuším. Zkus v biosu vypnout všechny úspory energie, nastavit level load line 1, fixní napětí zkus 1.24V a ve windows v napájení zkus dát vysoký výkon.

@@theprosk2463 Tak to hochu fakt nevím, ale tak to by se mělo měnit podle zátěže. Pří nízkých detailech by ti to mělo běžet na tě h 4,5-4,6 a při ultra 80-120fps ti to bude skákat. U xeona 1231v4 a i7 8700 jsem to měl taky tak. Proto já nikdy nechci cpu bez K. Nastavíš jednu frekvenci. Vyladíš napětí a drží to furt stálou frekvenci

8GB x2 DDR5 is quad chanel ( 4x32bits)
