If you enable Vsync you will indeed get more smoothness, but you will also get more input lag. If we look at this example, you have 240 fps, latency is roughly ~4-5ms. If you set Vsync to 75fps, the latency will be around 13-14ms. This will be very noticeable in online shooters.

Think you could redo this sometime soon? I feel like it would be a bit better considering how long it has been.

As of 25-Jan-2025, it is working!! I just changed the min and max fps as specified in the video for both the files. Made it readonly and then run the game. I installed it from Epic Games.

2025: I looked again at the new monitor, which still has a 2560x1440 resolution, but it's a 32-inch panel. And 1440P is much sharper and nicer. Whoever makes the upgrade will not regret it.

How do we apply this for our current games?

The quality slightly improved from 1080p to 1440p maybe beacause we are watching on 1080p

Interesting. I have similiar specs to you RTX 3080 10gb. When I set the texture pool size above medium the game lags a lot but I am playing in 4k.
