Love Tahoe, lived there for 2yrs and I wanna move back. As a Asian/Filipino American I was always stoked to see other POC on the mountain snowboarding and enjoying what everyone should experience at least once, the fresh air, the scenery and good vibes. One Love Fam!
They have Black Ski Weekend every year on Tahoe. Used to be MLK wknd, but I believe it's in March now.
I'm a Cali local and Lake Tahoe remains my #1 spot to go for occasions. Doesn't matter the time of the year or season, the place itself remains beautiful through out all year and always have activities to do.
No matter the season, Tahoe is the fav!

Simply beautiful, we went for my birthday in January, Exactly how you were talking about your clothes go on Amazon you can get the pants or you can get the cover off I like the cover also a lot better cause the pants slide off the boots everything you can have a whole gear for less than a $100, Also make sure that you have sunglasses, There's many cool places to stay in Lake Tahoe we stayed at the Harvey's, Also we flew in Toronto and we did the tour row so we got a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler, We drove around the whole lake it takes probably about maybe 2 hours I'm glad we did itThe California side was also cool, It's just a cool and great vibe,BIG smile 😀 😃 😄

I'm a Tahoe local since 1989, it is beautiful but you talk about Aspen being affluent, I have watched this place become Aspen on a larger scale over the thirty years and it has exploded since the pandemic. I mean, I get it, it is awesome here, beautiful, but overused now and suffering because of it. The rich have forced the property values here to such a ridiculous amount that, they have priced out the little people, you know, the one's who clean up after you, serve you etc., soon it will all be self-service because normal people can not afford to live here and are not paid enough to commute. A house I paid 86K for in 1995, 864 sq. ft., is selling for over 600K! I am glad you enjoyed your stay, I hope you locked the trash up before you left, they are killing our bears because they put out the garbage when they leave, and refuse does not come to pick it up for days.

As someone who lives here year round, you did a fantastic job highlighting our area! Great video. Be sure to come back in the summer, it’s EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL!! I do agree with you about our dining options, mediocre at best! Lone Eagle is legit. Also, if you want good taqueria, hit up La Mexicana in Kings Beach!! Gardwoods for their famous wet woodies. And charpit for a classic roadside hamburger joint (they have excellent milkshakes).
