It´s a formidable task to trancribe Marr guitar parts. I really appreciate your effort. Thank you very much.
I have to take a pause after playing guitar for the past 38 years to think I may have missed something. Johnny Marr, I prostrate to thee
Wonderful
Time finally up my game on this one. Bravo!
This live version has a wonderful Last Night a DJ Saved my Life vibe 2/3 of the way in. Clear playing, super tab, awesome project, thank you.
Nailed it, beast of a guitar tune to play 👍🏻
Fantastic!!
Thanks!
Fantastic tab. The latter half of this song has eluded me for years and this has made it perfectly clear to me. I definitely don't have the detective skills you do
Thanks. I’m happy this is accurate. Until the next time :)
Thanks. I’m happy this is accurate. Until the next time :)
Thank you so much again, inspiring! You have the best Marr tabs on YT
Flawless
Insane how one can keep that riff going for so long
Another hard one!! 👏
Great work!
brilliant!
The first cover ive seen where the 10 0 8 bit is correct 🎉
Johnny was certainly a fan of Chic that's for sure!
Love this song it’s Johnny marrs most aggressive and sounds 2 steps away from siouxie and the banshees
Yeah McGeoch is a big influence on Marr. You can really hear traces in his recent albums too, e.g. “I Want The Heartbeat”

where did you get the backing track for this?
I'm just using Spleeter to create the stems, then muting the guitar.
Are The Smiths considered Neo Psychedelic Rock or Post Punk Rock?
More post-punk than neo-psych, although neither of those accurately them really. Jangle pop would be a more accurate term.
Is delay used on this song?
Yeah I've added some on the guitar bus in my DAW
hey i got a question why did you unlist your vids?
Annoying comments, downvoters and internet trolls. Anyone who is actually interested in learning this and other songs can find them via my site
@@HeadlessGuitarPlayer okay thank you also I love your tabs so dont listen to the other people and thanks
@@HeadlessGuitarPlayer You have no ideas what your vids mean to a Smiths fan like me and I think a lot of people think the same, so pls ignore the trolls
