No, this is NOT a negative story. It's actually a FUNNY event that happened last Sunday!
County Line Church of God in Auburn, IN hosted an Archery Tag event at the Fall Festival in 2011. During a Sunday morning service, Pastor Stuart Kruse showed a short promo video about the sport.
After the video was finished, while inviting the congregation to come out and play the new sport, a couple of congregation members popped out from behind him, and shot him from behind.
The first arrow was a direct hit, but the second arrow missed the Pastor, and nearly took out someone in the front pew!

How can they do such things in the house of GOD. People should be careful what they do in the church especially on the alta.
@OutdoorsLifeNC Ha! If we ever reach a point of world peace, I suppose all assassinations will be done with Archery Tag arrows. Nobody dies. Just a nice little thump to say "hello". :)

that's why I never go to church,, not safe at all.
When I first saw the video I knew it was either a Baptist church or a Pentecostal church. I was right!!! Church of God is a Trinitarian Pentecostal denomination, practically identical to the Assemblies of God, which is where I go:-)

@agrocks1231 Yeah, not really an appropriate place for Archery Tag...unless the church is hosting an Archery Tag event at their fall festival...and the founder of the sport is an attender there. :)
