MTA Bus Driver Threatens Me & to Snatch my Camera - Q18 5/31/22 11:23 PM with 3581

A driver unexpectedly gets out and threatens to snatch my camera over thinking photos are being taken of him personally.
I'm a bus & railfan who enjoys the hobby of taking pictures and videos of Transit (see my channel), especially buses and trains that are soon to retire and become history just like this unit seen here, Orion VII 3581 on the Q18 during it's final weeks before being replaced with 2022 LFS. This video had absolutely nothing to do with this driver until he stepped out of the bus and verbally threatened me putting himself into the video.
What this driver did was absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for. I wanted to ask for his badge number and actually start recording him but I felt too physically threatened by what he might do to me. He was not displaying his badge number at the time.
Incident occured at exactly 11:23 PM EST on May 31, 2022 on the Northbound Q18 to Astoria at 58 Street + Woodside Avenue. Bus #3581, run #307.
I understand driving a bus is stressful, but threatening a person while on the job is considerably crossed the line. I'm sure 2 Broadway would not be happy seeing this video.

Wow this is so ridiculous bro…… Throughout this whole video there was never a moment where the bus drivers face was seen….. it’s pitch black so it make it even more harder to see his face 😒

I remember getting yelled at for recording a MTA Bus too, like 2 years back. Like its nothing bad its not illegal either its allowed

This really is dumb. I'm sorry you went through that man. I've experienced drivers that act stupid before, (kicking me off a bus for saying "i dont have a mask on") when I clearly did. The driver was ignoring me and my friend, and stormed off. Drivers cause problems sometimes, and they blame it on us, like smh that doesn't work like that

It's crazy the way that some drivers react to Transit Fans, we aren't recording drivers, we just care about the bus or train and I feel like sometimes that hard for bus and rail operators to understand.
