You're adorable (I'm an old lady). I just bought a Barbie and Kelly Richwell doll from an auction. I can't wait to get them!!! Thanks for the great video 🥰
For some reason, when Richwell was in charge of creating/ making Barbie doll for the Philippine/other foreign markets, they removed the "PHILIPPINES" marked on the back of her waist but not on the Kelly and Ken bodies...🤔✨
Unfortunately they close Mattel Philippines .... Not sure why... But I love this old basic dolls...❤️❤️❤️ Basic dolls these days is even way more cheaper.
Hello from the US! Thank you for the Fashion Fun Barbie Shows....Annie loves Barbie...💃 We bought our $1 Barbie from Dollar Tree (everything in the store is $1, mostly), BUT of course they are not as nice as your golden dress...😁
Interesting info there on that company! I LOVE her dress.... even though she is from the early 90's that dress is quintessential 80's!!! I love her hairstyle, and I adore those illustrations, too! :D Quite different to the usual Barbie illustrations! AND LOVE the very 80's Lacroix outfit at the end!!!! :D
Just one of many reasons I feel I grew up in the 80s and 90s at the same time. Barbie just couldn't let go 😂 That outfit at the end is my favourite 90s fashions of them all.
@@DeanReen: Yes.... as we've discussed before, Barbie didn't really embrace the 'grunge' and 'minimalism' that were hallmarks of 90's fashion, (Though I did remember one early 90's Barbie with baggy cord dungarees and a 'grunge-ish' multi-striped shrunken T-shirt and beanie... but they were in bright/pastel colours! :P )
Never heard of Richwell til now, very informative Dean. Thanks for posting another great review. 😁 Also luv the art on the box btw. Kind of reminds of a Barbie board game I have that is rare, from the 90s also mainly sold in Australia & other European markets.
I adore the richwell dolls. They remind me of my childhood. I wonder if they were sold in the US at all? Ooh, what game? I don't know much about the board games or the licensed products. I always find them so interesting.
@@DeanReen I think it's called "Barbie Meets Ken" board game. It's like a puzzle cut round board that fits together. I don't recall if the Richwells were sold here. But possibly back when we had Woolworths stores.
Oh! I think I saw that on eBay not too long ago. So interesting. I love richwell. But I love the South American dolls a bit more. I bought myself one for Christmas (I know, a bit early eh?)
Hello, Deany!! 😍😍 Your hair looks amazing!!! My hair is longer too 😊😊 She's beautiful!!! And I specially love her Golden sexy dress! Reminds me of Pink n' pretty barbie. I was born in 1992 too, but I think she looks way better🤣🤣🤣
Thank you Di!! ❤️ I have cut it as you can probably see in my latest video. I will miss the long hair but it was very annoying. I would love to see your hair. Do you have pictures anywhere? Oh dear. Stop it. You look amazing.
How have I never seen this video!? Beautiful doll and great video!!:)
Thanks Dakota! She is very simple but so beautiful. I still have her and love her.
Her face is gorgeous 🤩 - Mick
Thank you. I agree. She is a simple beauty.

Hmm, that is strange. I wonder why? I wonder if it was a legal thing?
OMG l remember that l have her wen l was a kid l have her and still have her and remember l love her
Oh! Lucky you! I would have loved her as a kid. She is so glamorous! ❤️
:)

Cost most likely. It is usually always about saving money. The basic dolls back then we're basically the same quality as the fancy dolls.

Hello there! Who doesn't love Barbie? Hahaha 😂 I Just saw your $1 Barbies. Very Cute! There are a lot of collectors that really love that doll.
@@DeanReen Yep! Annie just started to have her doll collection...😁

They are expensive on USA ebay!
US resellers. I have often seen Australian dolls that I buy for $20-40 Australian sell for almost $300 Australian on US eBay. It makes me sad.
She is pretty
Thank you! ❤️
