Thanks Tobias for sharing this with us all! ● I love the idea of simplicity just there to underline the beauty of the notes and the music... ● I don’t know if the below list is correct, but I tried! ● Personally I would enjoy a video from you talking about the amplifiers you use and how you set them up. ● For the rest thank you for the great music …
Electro-Harmonix / HUM DEBUGGER
BOSS TU-3 Tuner
GREER AMPS / Lightspeed Organic Overdrive
VEMURAM / Jan Ray BOOST-OVERDRIVE Pedal
LEHLE Volume Pedal …
But Which One?
LEHLE MONO VOLUME S
or
LEHLE STEREO VOLUME
or
LEHLE MONO VOLUME 90
or
LEHLE MONO VOLUME
Guitar Amp: Fender DELUXE REVERB
This is a wonderful break down as to creating layers and simple enhancements. But his playing is so delicate and musical it’s his talent that shines so brightly
Very informative. I solved an even worse hum problem last week by connecting all my equipment to another power group, actually the one that's connected to the washing machine.
The closest we're going to get to a "rig rundown" in this context, I expect. :)) Also, a glimpse of how Tobias showcases the instrument, even while making such creative and satisfying *music* (as he says towards the end). Thanks for this!
The inexpensive looper pedal he's talking about is the "Fame Twin looper". I was really close to buying expensive Chase bliss pedals for creative looping, but this looks like a great alternative for just 79 euros. Thanks already Tobias!
Cheers. Came to the comments for this.
These Fame Loopers sound really good but they are not sturdy!! I had two of them. The pots, switches and electronics failed very soon! I cannNOT recommend them.
Great advice! I'll check out the hum debugger and the twin looper.
Other than that I think the great sound mostly comes from the Fender amp
What a legend, Tobias the composer. I love how he doesn’t use a board or fancy switcher like a lot of youtubers who make it seem like you have to have the latest gear.
Enlightening! Thanks for doing this.
Tobias we need to work on your presence online!!! You are amazing
Tobias uses effects in a very tasteful -- and, as we see, minimal -- way. A player of his calibre doesn't need them as a disguise or crutch. Everything is done in service to the music.
thx a lot for your sounds and tips!
Interessant, besonders dieser Hum Debugger. Mich interessiert noch, ob Ihr spezielle Mikrophon-Preamps verwendet. Tobias ist spitzenmäßig. Danke und liebe Grüße. Carsten ✌🏼
Let's talk some more about that Deluxe Reverb that you always use and some of your favorite guitars that you have played. That would be fun!
Yes! Would love to know what speaker is inside it
@3:40- I thought, "Bill Frisell."
I did too
The boss said get back to work lol
❤
Your videos are always informative and your playing is so artful. But dude, couldn't that guy have waited for the video to end before he messed around inside the frame?!
