It never fails to make me cry when he takes a moment to sing a capella with the audience. He's done it at every live show I've seen, and doing that in a room with him in Chicago was such a spiritual experience.

I am so happy to have had the chance to see him (literally 😃) play in a much smaller venue a few years ago and he was so fantastic, his voice made my cry.
I too was moved to tears when I saw him this summer. There’s just something special about him and his music that shoots straight to my heart. ❤

Also in Germany Dermot Kennedy songs are very well known and loved. They are on the radio every day. But when I say, I went to a Dermot Kennedy concert, people say, 'Uh Who? So, I have come to the bold conclusion that there might be something wrong with making an Irish name stick in the memory of Germans??? I'm working on progress. LOL
