(EXTREME YAP ALERT) I were playing Rate My Avatar for 2 years and more. And im not surprised to see its getting deleted because i encountered over 500 Inappropriate booths or cheaters who uses NSFW exploits…. Even i got my most of bans or warnings because of these creeps in Rate My Avatar game. They reported me for complaining about their booths with bypassed decals. I have only seen a moderator for one time in that 2 years and 6 months. Even i have seen booths with a text of “Your …. Size based on your avatar” and much more.
I've seen all sorts of bypassed pornographic images as booth decals, bypassed racial slurs, pretty much everything. Usually I just ignored them, they're just trolls looking for attention.
Guys we need to now make a petition to get "public bathroom simulator" off of the platform too. Like if you agree. I'll also add that Meepcity was my childhood... I remember the days when it was just an innocent little game where you could decorate your house, have little meeps flying around you. I'd spend most of my time at the pizza place and hospital pretending to be a doctor or a patient.

I've been playing this game for a couple years and I can definitely see why it was removed. This was a major hub for people to make NSFW booths with bypassed images, use bypassed avatars, and just generally do weird stuff. It was kind of entertaining and I did meet some actually interesting people there, but I guess I can see why it got banned considering its awful reputation. The holder account for their group also got banned (but the group is currently still up). I'm not sure if this will really have much of an effect on Roblox since all of the weird players will just go to other games, but we'll have to wait and see what happens.
I actually played rate my avatar just hours before it got taken down. Yeah, the ban is deserved. Some of the players there almost put 4chan to shame. Like you guessed, the game itself was totally innocent, there was nothing wrong with it, except for one tiny little...huge detail. Since it's the kind of game that is so heavily centered on player-made text, chat, vc, etc it needs a lot and I mean a LOT of moderation. At the very least, some kind of modcall button (similar to when the) so someone can come in and ban a bunch of people. With it left unmoderated, it just turned into a cesspool that kept getting worse and worse. So yeah, the creators should be held accountable, if it's this bad they either need to put in the effort to try to get it under control or take it down.

as a former moderator in 2021 and a observer this year for rate my avatar, it was never intended to be inappropriate like you said: it's meant to be a social game. in 2021 it wasn't bad at all, we only had a few bypassers and exploiters which have been on roblox for ages now. yet, as years went on it has gotten worse and worse. yes, the owners were't moderating as much but getting their own moderators, they kept us in line and made sure we know how to deal with each individual. we were responsible for blacklisting inappropriate decals and permanently banning players from the game. players ruin it however, and they always will. WE are NOT roblox moderators. if they care that much surely they can delete inappropriate decals immediately when they 'review' it before it's created, censor all inappropriate words that are used as bypasses and of course exploiters. in other words, me and my fellow moderators inside rate my avatar have done more than them. those who broke roblox ToS inside this game doesn't mean they will stop in different games they play, does that mean the games they play and do the same thing get deleted too? i believe it's a roblox issue and they just cant be arsed to moderate properly, especially when we report them as well as babning them from the game

Easy fix. Remove the booths with text, only let people click on eachothers avatars and use a star rating system and a favoriting system. Completely remove the chat, even. And the voice chat.

I will be honest here, ive been using this game as a coping mechanism for my crippling lonliness and depression for probably more than four years, and the amount of things ive seen on there have traumatized me. People told me to kill myself and told me how to do it, when i was suicidal and i attempted suicide a few times. After a while i started playing just so i could get bullied because i felt like i deserved it. Ive also seen some terrible things. People literally were putting..."cheese pizza" as decals on their booths. Im not joking, i was traumatized and i never want me or anyone else to see something like that ever again. Im so glad this game is gone.

Yes, the game wasn't banned for no reason, you meet a lot of strange characters there. But I also met a lot of nice people who weren't like that, just normal. If there had been a good moderator, it would certainly have been a relaxed talk game. You could also see the worst things, which even disturbed me as an adult. Nobody should have to see these things, especially children. If I were a mod, I would probably have permanently banned some of these people and call the police, for the really bad things.
