Good to see shops and restaurants thriving in Guangzhou. Other RUclips videos show depressing economy in other Chinese cities, which makes me wonder if those videos are fake or real?

I don't usually comment on other people's videos, but I can talk about Guangzhou where I live. In some parts of the city, you can film videos that show a struggling economy, but that doesn't mean the whole city is like that. Similarly, you might see areas that look prosperous, but they don't represent the entire city.
China is a huge country, so it's hard to capture everything through a single lens. For example, after the epidemic, you'll find unlicensed street vendors selling late-night snacks in some corners of Guangzhou's urban villages. This happens because of changes in the economy or people not wanting traditional jobs. However, filming at night can be tricky because it tests the camera's quality.

Always good to hear a man talk and discuss gender issues. Here in the US of course we think we are champions of equal rights for women but you don't have to delve too deeply into our society to see that women often face unseen prejudice. As younger people grow into positions of power this is thankfully, slowly changing.

Is it possible for someone like you to get in trouble for posting on a website that is banned in China?

Canadian here. Unpopular opinion: I respect China for preserving traditional values and gender roles across society. The consequences of leftist political dominance over a nation is nothing to be envious about. It sucks over here. Male feminists need to rethink their political stance and consider the long term consequences to a country and its ppl once men allow feminism and far-left politics to take over education, politics, and religion. Lesson: don't be a male feminist. Choose to preserve masculinity and pass it down to your sons.

I get what you're saying. I'm actually just summarizing my girlfriend's experiences in China, and I forgot to mention that, so it might sound a bit like I'm a male feminist.
