*A zokin is a Japanese cleaning cloth made from scraps of old cloth stitched together. It can be very simple or some of the stitching can be quite decorative. This is a tremendously versatile cleaning tool that we can make for free!*

Hurray! Thank you for featuring the ZoKin ( I is pronounced like long e as in Italian). My children were taught to sew these by hand in elementary school. They also had to clean the school floors with school supplied ones. (The children learned so much from cleaning: community, respecting property, motor skills, confidence, etc.)
Greetings from A fan from Japan (expat married to Japanese).

My middle sister would do something like this where as I'm the one who likes to cook. I recycle my old tea towels and bath trowel's into wash rags that way I have more time to cook. I find they hold soap better. My sister's is exact opposite she will spend hours crafting and sewing to avoid the kitchen. My baby sister hates anything domestic related...lol

Hi Connie, I can't buy the liquid smoke in my area anymore but oy, I found a package of 4bottles. Flavors are misquite, hickory, Applewood and pecan. Sorry I haven't been very active but last year had cancer, lost asisterinlaw, a nephew, and this year lost a cousin and another nephew. It's been rough.
