  • Grandpa Amu shows the process of making fish bladders. The whole process requires a lot of patience. He shows the application of fish bladder glue in life. Many friends may not know that in fact, glue was also used in the production of woodworking furniture in the past. The old carpenters used pig skin, cowhide, or fish bladders to make it, which is very healthy and environmentally friendly. However, it is time-consuming and labor-intensive to make, and the cost is also high. Now many people use industrial glue, which can be popularized and widely used. Both have their pros and cons.
Life is full of flavors, and life needs to be faced with a smile!
Hello everyone, I am Grandpa Amu, an old carpenter who likes to focus on woodworking. If you like my videos, please continue to pay attention to my channel. The videos we shoot are mainly wooden crafts. Next, my son and I are also working hard to shoot more creative videos and share them with everyone, so that every reader can learn knowledge and relieve their mood. There are also many wonderful works in the channel, and everyone can enjoy them slowly. Thank you for your support.

And now you know why Grandpa Amu uses so many clever and strong joinery techniques that do not require glue ...

In an era without various chemical synthesis processes, extracting what one wants from various natural materials is an ancient wisdom🥰

AND Thank you for the English language subtitles, please keep adding them to your videos! We use hide glue here in the US, but the process of making it yourself is mostly lost. 🇺🇸

Thank you for another interesting video Grandpa (although I'm 79 yrs). For a moment I thought that you were going to eat that. We use hide glue, ie. Cattle, horse and rabbit skin mainly for furniture restoration although the latter is also used for gesso in the gilding process. Thankfully we can purchase it in perl form.
    Best regards
