I have been a subscriber for a long time and watched LaLande evolve with Stephanie’s incredible hard work and steadfast vision. Her magnetic personality has drawn such a wonderful group of talented, caring and supportive friends into her charismatic orbit, it I joy to behold. Her love of beautiful French art and history drew my husband of nearly 50 years and myself to Paris in May. A trip , that without this blog that never would have happened. It was magical. I can’t afford to be a patron but I watch all the ads and usually leave a comment. This vlog was amazing seeing all the patrons as well as all the LaLanders together. Everyone did an amazing job pulling this off. I was sorry to hear of the Queen’s passing. She was a beautiful soul who served her country with grace, honor and dignity. My deepest sympathy for all her countrymen as well as her family 🙏❤️🩹😢

Stephanie makes being a patron worth it. I've been a patron to several other channels and ended up stopping because I felt they didn't really give much to it. I love that Stephanie does an extra video a week for us. Not just releasing the vlog early for patrons. I don't care enough to see something earlier to be a patron.

I loved everything so much I’m watching it again. What a wonderful event - how kind of Henri the Marquis keeping the nasty weather at bay. Everyone did their part so beautifully - excellent scheduling Philip - pulling an all nighter!! Philip must be thrilled that dogs are finally part of the chateau family. Really thrilled to hear the back story of Kirsty’s success with the dahlia bed; I had no idea and yes it is absolutely wow!! Beautiful food, (love the tablecloths Sara!!), everything was gorgeous right down to the best dressed Dana as day chef, Andrew as evening crew caterer extraordinaire, the delightful teas and lavender sachets made by Pavlina and of course the ever classy car park attendant Percy.
This channel really got me through the pandemic especially when I discovered this in 2020. It's so heartwarming to see all the patrons experience the chateau 💗💗💗

Stephanie says she understands and knows not all can give and if not it is okay. When we click above and thumbs up, it does help with revenue too. She has come up and over the point needed to earn for even this !,, So it helps even this way. Patrons do so much, but we all do what we can. But many things yet must be done and if anyone can it would be great if they did, as it can be very expenive to keep up such a lovely and large Chateau. But if we cannot we must not beat ourselves u, but at least we can do this much Maybe twomorow we wil find our lives different and can do more> We never know.

Covid was also part of the “magic” that ended up bringing LaLande to many of us in the rest of the world! I discovered your channel during lock downs. You were a connection to the outside world that was so refreshing while quarantined to a tiny little radius near where we live.

It was amazing meeting all of you at Lalande and meeting all the Lalanders. It was a bit surreal to be at Lalande and entering the rooms and walking on its ground, especially to get used to the different perspectives of the rooms and exterior. But it was a wonder to see all the care you all put in to make those OpenDays very special for all of us. You were all so nice and open, I loved talking to all of you. Some of the people I talked the most to: - Amaury is such a gentle soul, loving and caring person, I could talk hours with him, - Philip is radiating so much joy, passion and he has such exquisite taste, sense of details and know how to tell a story - Stéphanie is radiating this joy, spark of life, hopefullness about Life and she is an amazing being - Nick is an amazing person, I could listen to him for hours, everything he was sharing was so interesting, - Andie what an incredible person and artist, seeing her arts in person was a gift - Michael Potts, his photographies are really incredible to see, I really enjoyed talking with him - Chantale, Isabelle, Maria, Nattie, Kat and Chloe were so nice and so interesting to talk too, I really enjyed to talk with them, even if it was just for a little bit :)
I think, after seeing the front of the chateau, that maybe the best way to designate the main front door into the entrance hall would be to source two very large urns and have them planted or filled for all the seasons, with flowers in spring summer and fall and then evergreen branches in winter. It’ll be a good solution for the time being until the face work is done
After a gathering of all the family, friends and volunteers who have touched our heats. A wonderful three days with everyone showing off their talents and talking with all their different groups! And such hard work before hand. Thank you to all the patrons and Lalanders for sharing it with us!😘😘😘

@@annaheater8906 I think she is referring to Nick the tree surgeon / arborist. He's a fantastic asset for the Chateau. I don't know their business relationship, but the fellows of his caliber charge a boatload of money for what they offer. He has a small fortune invested in his mill and shop on wheels and he usually has his son in tow too. He looks pretty low maintenance, but offers a rather rare and wonderful service that's incredibly valuable to a châtelaine. Stephanie has enough wooded area of land to warrant an arborist that visits multiple times a year. The fact that he processes it, including milling as needed, is incredible. At the risk of judging a book by its cover, I'll bet Nick has some really interesting stories to tell. I'd live to visit Stephanie and all the Lalanders some day. As a horticulturist, Nick, Kirsty and Dan would all be Interesting to engage in conversation. Meanwhile, I'm content to peer into their lives several times a week, as they allow.

I can’t afford to be a patron but I watch all the ads and usually leave a comment. This vlog was amazing seeing all the patrons as well as all the LaLanders together. Everyone did an amazing job pulling this off. I was sorry to hear of the Queen’s passing. She was a beautiful soul who served her country with grace, honor and dignity. My deepest sympathy for all her countrymen as well as her family 🙏❤️🩹😢

Stephanie makes being a patron worth it. I've been a patron to several other channels and ended up stopping because I felt they didn't really give much to it. I love that Stephanie does an extra video a week for us. Not just releasing the vlog early for patrons. I don't care enough to see something earlier to be a patron.

Sometimes a video and sometimes just gorgeous pictures with lots of writing. So good. And his channel is hilarious. His wife Camilla is a hoot! It’s called Magical Modernist Mansion

I love the white bowl given by Sven, the food by Guillaume, Dana and Andrew, Maria and Kat's mini-concert, Marie's flowers, and Percy's parking jacket! I cracked when Gerry with his characteristic humor asked the patrons if they need an interpreter. And Philip - I cannot believe the planning and organization that went with this event. You have an excellent team at Lalande. Is this going to be an annual event? I bet it will get better every time.

Nick, the tree surgeon's personality has really flowered under such positive reinforcements of his talents. It shows how much that it's not just that you are attracting talented people, but that you bring out the best in them. 🔹So happy that Amaury has his dogs with him at last! I always remembered about them, but after they didn’t come along when he moved everything down from his workshop I thought they must be with his brother or a friend.
🔹It’s really lovely the way Nick the Tree Surgeon has become part of the Lalande family, and with mutual respect. I’ve gotten a bit better with his accent. I’m still not understanding everything, but when he was first introduced I was just hopeless. Shoutout for his fabulous T-Shirt, perfect!

I loved everything so much I’m watching it again. What a wonderful event - how kind of Henri the Marquis keeping the nasty weather at bay. Everyone did their part so beautifully - excellent scheduling Philip - pulling an all nighter!! Philip must be thrilled that dogs are finally part of the chateau family. Really thrilled to hear the back story of Kirsty’s success with the dahlia bed; I had no idea and yes it is absolutely wow!! Beautiful food, (love the tablecloths Sara!!), everything was gorgeous right down to the best dressed Dana as day chef, Andrew as evening crew caterer extraordinaire, the delightful teas and lavender sachets made by Pavlina and of course the ever classy car park attendant Percy.

Stephanie says she understands and knows not all can give and if not it is okay. When we click above and thumbs up, it does help with revenue too. She has come up and over the point needed to earn for even this !,, So it helps even this way. Patrons do so much, but we all do what we can. But many things yet must be done and if anyone can it would be great if they did, as it can be very expenive to keep up such a lovely and large Chateau. But if we cannot we must not beat ourselves u, but at least we can do this much Maybe twomorow we wil find our lives different and can do more> We never know.

Basically, Lalande certainly stands for tolerance, a lot of love and happiness for many. But especially when I see Amaury's parents, it gives me a warm feeling that there is the right one for everyone out there. Especially for heartbreak very healing😍 The two are simply pot and lid - wonderful
Apart from the Queen's passing, it was a very exciting vlog filled love and laughter. It was so titillating I had to get myself a gin and tonic in order to be a part of the hoopla. I must say that Nick the tree man is quite a colourful character. Kudos to all.

Covid was also part of the “magic” that ended up bringing LaLande to many of us in the rest of the world! I discovered your channel during lock downs. You were a connection to the outside world that was so refreshing while quarantined to a tiny little radius near where we live.

This has been your most exciting event yet. Three days of joy. I have seldom seen such beautiful flower arrangements, beautiful food, happy people, eclectic entertainment, and the rooms so lovingly prepared for this event. Marie's piano playing is amazing.
It was amazing meeting all of you at Lalande and meeting all the Lalanders.
It was a bit surreal to be at Lalande and entering the rooms and walking on its ground, especially to get used to the different perspectives of the rooms and exterior.
But it was a wonder to see all the care you all put in to make those OpenDays very special for all of us.
You were all so nice and open, I loved talking to all of you.
Some of the people I talked the most to:
- Amaury is such a gentle soul, loving and caring person, I could talk hours with him,
- Philip is radiating so much joy, passion and he has such exquisite taste, sense of details and know how to tell a story
- Stéphanie is radiating this joy, spark of life, hopefullness about Life and she is an amazing being
- Nick is an amazing person, I could listen to him for hours, everything he was sharing was so interesting,
- Andie what an incredible person and artist, seeing her arts in person was a gift
- Michael Potts, his photographies are really incredible to see, I really enjoyed talking with him
- Chantale, Isabelle, Maria, Nattie, Kat and Chloe were so nice and so interesting to talk too, I really enjyed to talk with them, even if it was just for a little bit :)
I think, after seeing the front of the chateau, that maybe the best way to designate the main front door into the entrance hall would be to source two very large urns and have them planted or filled for all the seasons, with flowers in spring summer and fall and then evergreen branches in winter. It’ll be a good solution for the time being until the face work is done

Congratulations Stephanie! You manage to give so much for the patrons and still have a great RUclips channel for the regular viewers. It is frustrating when some channels try to force people into patronage by making regular viewers miss on important things. But here everyone feels welcome, and I guess this is your biggest secret for success!

So happy the patron days went well, it looked amazing! On another note, I was at school teaching when the news broke. Thank goodness I didn't look at my phone until the kids had left. It's such a shock and deep loss, even here in America. My deepest sympathies to all who loved her ❤️

@@annaheater8906 I think she is referring to Nick the tree surgeon / arborist. He's a fantastic asset for the Chateau. I don't know their business relationship, but the fellows of his caliber charge a boatload of money for what they offer.
He has a small fortune invested in his mill and shop on wheels and he usually has his son in tow too. He looks pretty low maintenance, but offers a rather rare and wonderful service that's incredibly valuable to a châtelaine. Stephanie has enough wooded area of land to warrant an arborist that visits multiple times a year. The fact that he processes it, including milling as needed, is incredible.
At the risk of judging a book by its cover, I'll bet Nick has some really interesting stories to tell. I'd live to visit Stephanie and all the Lalanders some day. As a horticulturist, Nick, Kirsty and Dan would all be Interesting to engage in conversation. Meanwhile, I'm content to peer into their lives several times a week, as they allow.

I want to thank all of the people who are Patrons. I am unable to afford it but if I could I would because it is so important to keep history alive. What fun it must have been for everyone to get a chance to meet everyone we know so well through your videos and for you to get to meet all of the wonderful people who have been so much help in taking the restoration of La Lande to the next level. The weather was truly a blessing and then to see Hook's little rear end scurrying off was just perfection. No one will ever be able to replace Her Majesty the Queen but I do wish the new King Charles III all the best. God Save the King.
