nice build. i was using ur last summoner build with huge crit hit dmg.. but finding same legendary items with same att in inf 4 is hard. plus raising 6 mages takes time in c dungeons. switching from sheps to angmets will take time also ( even triple gem slot is a pain in ass ) ..now im tryin this build with 4 sheps ( mandatory ) surviving is not a problem. setting ur specific gems is a problem for f'2p good work dude..i played necro since the beginning . or lets say diablo 2....never changed class ;)
Interesting you would pick spite fetor over corrosive slab. Personally I like it best with scattered light mages & executive discontent, but I ran rotted harvest + corrosive slab on this build for a long time before challenge dungeons came out.
@ 😂 it’s such an OP build regardless. I even use it for raids now with minimal changes (4vit/4angmet, scattered light/executive discontent, and blight maw). There’s almost nothing that this build or a very slight variation doesn’t excel at.
Yessss another Auorth video ❤️ Back on my main as a necro (after trying sader). I tried a variant of this build recently and while i was topping the dps charts (actually amazing as a f2p relatively new player) i really struggled with survivability, dying a couple of times each run. Do you have any advice to avoid getting oneshot? To give you an idea of my gear level, I'm above CR (barely) and my legendary 1/2 star and normal gems are around rank 5-6. I was using Berserkers eyes which i can swap out, any other thoughts? PS. I noticed on the training dummy the dps was lower than summon build but that must be because its single target.
The dps is lower at the dummy bit the initial burst is a lot higher 🙏 Use protector warband room and try to look for some defensive items with both beneficial effect duration and damage taken reduced. If u struggle a lot u can also switch in a rank5-6 battleguard for now 🙏 U can also change the helmet to the one that lets your golem take a,portioj of your dmg. The golem will heal itself from corpses anyways :) Try to experiment with these and see what works best for you :)
I am quite sure that lowered attack speed alone does not count as loss of control 🙏 Also poison golem only applies a dot when using its base attack (onto one single target) The golem used here will be a lot more efficient imo 😊
@@Auroth_DIbtw can u list me the example between loss of control and total loss of control here? And will total loss of control be counted as loss of control?
Another question btw is your refroge set universal for all class cuz i change alot. I even have 4 Percent primary atk increase and im not sure to reroll it or not 😢
For total loss of control, that would be blind, fear, stun, freeze and some exceptions like mocking laughter taunt and jolt immobilization. Knockups/knockbacks are not a loss of control at all.
Finally the GOAT necromancer build thank you Auroth :) what is your reforge setup please , it is the same of your crusader ? Have a nice day bro and GG🎉
Hugely impressive DPS numbers, but I'm wondering how much is overkill? Your example dungeon run DPS is like 4x mine, but the total run time and even the boss kill isn't a whole lot faster. I realize Cathedral isn't the best comparison due to a lot of scripting, but still, with no meter I'd have guessed maybe like 1.2x not 4x. Some is probably the missing run speed. If I'm with a decent group I still use the size wb relic and a multi dash skill setup so we can blitz thru.
The overkill factor is not that big in c dungs. With great team I def also go for mobility but most players dont kill fast enough for that to be possible. Everything is relative when ot comes to time. In my book even seconds is a huge difference. Its like running 100m in 9.80 or 13.50 🤷😂
Hej auroth, thx for another great video. Love your detailed videos. Your are such a blessing for us! May I ask you, which build you use for raids? I want to improve my dmg there.
I might look into something like it someday but remember that offense is the best defense 😉 Jokes aside, there is def some content where survivability is more vital but to go full defensive is most often not the optimal strat imo 🙏
Working on a necro now. Missing the shoulders and first main hand for this build. Can't wait to try it out! Are the curse(s) self-explanatory? If not, would you tell us what they are?
Yes! Finally the video I have been waiting for! Hi Auroth. Thank you for another quality video. Voluk Nyx, Sholaksul. (I know I completely butchered this so please forgive me 😂)
Great build and nice in depth explanation of it. But why aren't you using Chip of Stone Flesh it can do insane amount of damage to enemies who have loss of control effect on them from 45% to 270% .
Also for clarification: The main dmg gain from chip would be the consistent armor break. The numbers u refer to is a one-time tick of % of base damage when the total loss of control effect ends (not a dmg modifier)
TOTAL loss of control. Slow is not a total loss of control. That would be blind, fear, stun, freeze and some exceptions like mocking laughter taunt and jolt immobilization. Knockups/knockbacks are not a loss of control at all.
Tyvm I was waiting some good builds like that.. if you can do one more thing for me .. need good builds for higher dps for G1,2,2 with paragon tree please
Please watch my omd gauntlet videos. I still believe the fire banner combo works best but I might be wrong on this (havent experimented too much lately with necro in gauntlet🙏)
best build for necromancer, the only downside is you aren't moving too fast. Most of the time, the group would be ahead. You could use poison golem to make monsters weak. that's what i use in my build.
Farm corpse lance affixes. It’s exceptionally easy to maintain 60% move speed in this build without sacrificing dps. The extra 10% to 70 isn’t significant (or common) enough to matter.
@@moloch6 untill then, one can just use the +30% movement speed for armor (shoulder). Or drop the golem for wraith form and keep the +30 CRIT damage on armor (shoulder), only use wraith when needed (also, you can use a MH to reduce it's CD further). The main, and important slots are the helmet (poison corpse lance), chest (+20-38% damage and damage reduction), pants (continual damage explosion on scythe), First corpse lance off hand (spinning, most people use), and on second MH and OH, depend on your primary, if you use soulfire (not my best IMO) use the +25% chance to burn targets one, and if bone spear (my preferred), the poisoning one (best damage overall than soulfire one IMO, but I see why Auroth keeps using it haha, since there's no other essence other than for golem on the slot).
@@Cerberos1188yeah I always recommend plattespauld if people need mobility, the dps loss isn’t so significant that it matters if you aren’t trying to be the s u per sweat. For the offhand I prefer scattered light paired with executive discontent. The dps is better than cusp in my tests plus you get the 3 mages ads burn sources if you happen to pair up with a sader.
@@moloch6 yeah, if using a pet, I prefer mages, lower cd, higher damage by themselves, and these untargetable ones already autosummon themselves during fights. The golem there helps better to drop other dots from your build, like gems, and also with tanking stuff. Its corpse consuming not only increases its damage and size, but the Aura size, and subsequent corpse eaten also heals it back to 100%, but some dungeons even the golem might die, and in certain ones be 'removed' like on elevators, or the last Pit boss. The untargetable mages for example, if you use the skill yourself, it already summons 2/3 of the limited 3/3 mages.
Was wondering if you will be doing any type of this video for the DH class?? I have been DH for over 2 yrs and just haven't found any combination of a bld that does nore than 2-3 mil dps. Maybe im doing something wrong but would like to be able to be as powerful as my clanmate Gonefishing. Keep up the great work sir.
@Auroth_DI ik seems the Devs have nerfed or don't care much about DH. Maybe you could check out all the essences and hopefully find something that could work. I currently have been using 1 of your blds from some time ago. Lol.
This is why after 2 years of maining DH I finally gave up and switched to Tempest. They constantly give DH silly upgrades to the worst skills to make a junk build sorta viable instead of giving them stuff that synergizes to actually boost dps like other classes often get. I think the old strafe build is still the best unless you can be static enough to pull off the upgraded sentry one. But you also can't really compare dps to Gonefishing cause he's got the gem collection of a 10k+ whale and who can and does rebuild to any optimal gem combo he wants while still keeping 8-9k res.
Should i change Lament(got 31%crit.chance) with Everlasting or ist Viper for dot only fine .. current gem build is: Bersekr R10 Roiling R3 Jade R2 P.Clasp R5 Misery R7 Mother R5 Mourn.skull R6 Viper R4 Insane Video love it ;)
That's what i was getting at honestly. Secondaries are highly undervalued by most people but in my view more important than reso. 3k is great compared to what I see on my server mostly.
There are many many factors that matters. Forget about resonance. The reason I deal so much dmg is because I have a very very good setup combined with the correct legendary gems. If I lower my gem ranks so that I have 2-3k reso I will still deal 2x times more dmg compared to most 10k+ reso players. Also if most players would equip the exact same legendary gem comp as me with the same ranks I would also double their damage. I explain in detail how the dmg formula works in part 1 of my f2p series. When it comes to secondaries there is some people who undervalue it but there are many many people who overvalues it. In PvE secondaries matters a bit if you are slightly above recommended levels but after a certain point it makes no difference what so ever even if you double your stats. If I would increase my armor pen from 4.8k to 8k the dmg would still be almost exactly the same since the gains u get are diminishing. There is no single thing that matters everything for dmg output. You need to micro manage every little % you can in order to reach full potential. A lot of posts on reddit or comments on youtube talk about CR, Reso and Secondaries but most of those comments are made by people who don’t understand the game fully yet 🤷 Easiest way to improve in PvE fast for most ppl is to look at the magical attributes of their items. I sometimes get DMs from people telling me a build does not work well for them. When they send me screenshots I see that most of them has only copied the set items and the essences. To perform well it requires so much more. I have been focusing on all factors possible for a long long time. Someone who has focused on the wrong things might need some time to adapt and perform better. Good luck with everything and remember to look beyond the basics of my videos. Spend some time to adapt to all the details so you do not miss anything. It might take some time but it will save you tons of time in game and make your output a lot lot better for different types of content 🙏😊
Theres no getting to them auroth. They will always point blame at reso for their laziness and not properly tuning their character. LITTLE DETAILS MATTER!
Good video. I think the damage is just too high since you’re dealing an overkill dps to a normal mob which is high in quantity. The dps is a bit bloated because of that. Still, the damage is still high. Do you have a barb challenge build too?
Thanks buddy! The overkill with this archetype was more present in normal dungeons but ofc there are some overkill when burst occurs on low health mobs 🙏 If u check the total health of mobs the burst for me is now more equal to the total health than before 😊 I have not played barb a lot lately though 😔
The main problem with this build is that the necromancer is not a melee class, he takes full damage. I'd like to see how this build works against three Butchers :) also you don't use essences from trift, which give +40 movement speed. To summarize, I will say this - this is not the best build for dungeons, it is slow and vulnerable. p.s. I've been playing as a necromancer since the game's release, so I know a little about it.
Yes that affix would be superb :) Feel free to use whatever build works best for you. For me this setup works best from all I have tried but it is nice that people have different opinions and playstyles 😃 When it comes to survivability in c dungs that won’t be an issue once u reach end game. You can also avoid most dmg quite easily if you move correctly. I am always happy when I meet a fellow main necro. If u see my profile pic I approve of that 😎 Which build is your favourite?
Nvm. I don't think that guy is gonna reply to us. Just talking his nonsense and moving on. All the build needs is 2/4 lance affix. Survivability should not be an issue. No need to build for it. He says he always been necro. Must have always sucked! Hah i kid i kid.
@@Auroth_DI for open world I use mages with golem plus spears with miasma curse. The best AoE build, in my opinion. you can use it for dungeons, but the periodic damage is not so good, since it requires a lot of things to accelerate it, which is why it is only good as an addition to the main damage. For dungeons I use mages and an altar, because mages give +60% to all damage and the altar +50%, resulting in +110% to total damage. If anyone is interested, in my build I do up to 400kk per minute on a boss dummy. My best result is 504k per minute. resonance 3k.
Так попередньо я б хотів бачити які каміння мають бути і резонанс (рівень цих каменів)навіщо мені збірка де гравець видає 15кк дпс на 5к резо а я зібравши таке маю 1кк хоча на інакшому герої 2.5кк
There are always a few people who writes comments like this but you and they are wrong imo. This setup will work superb for anyone even at low reso (as long as they study the full guide in detail) Feel free to try it out and tell me how it goes but make sure to focus on all the details and not just copy the essences. My guess is that you have not tried it yourself yet? If you follow the suggestions I give in my videos you will improve A LOT no matter if you are f2p or a whale 🙏 Good luck! 😃
Yeah I run this build & variants between 1900-2.5k reso and smash the hell out of DPS. 5m or more per second on the boss dummy, sustained over 1m. Use the right gems.
Auroth. With a lot of players, it just won't sink in. Iv worked 1 on 1 with many to help them out and some of them just can't grasp the importance of the little things. Its like they choose to ignore it and wonder why they underperform. I tell them again and they are still not getting it. Almost like, they think im wrong and something else is keeping them from high performance. Like, reso. Try telling them and they won't do what it takes. Just blame an unreachable reso number
You can be close to matching the build with the correct set and essences with most of the gems and be not even close. Its like tuning many things. It won't do good till you tune it. Then, it will all click and suddenly performance skyrockets. ALL the little things matter. Every last one of them.
I think an issue is, they will have the main part of the build, like set, essence and most gems, and they think that since all that is left is the little details that they have most of the build's potential. Then they doubt that little things will make be difference in performance.

It was a really bad oversight on my part.
I allready pinned a comment suggesting it.
I will even make a clarification myself now 😍
Hey Auroth, someone recently told me that Roiling Consequence and Mother’s Lament do not stack. Is this true?? I have always used both
They stack so that person is wrong 😊
@ thanks for confirming mate! They got me worried there for a bit haha
Yep. Gotta watch out for misinformation. Theres a few things out there that players believe that is completely incorrect
nice build. i was using ur last summoner build with huge crit hit dmg.. but finding same legendary items with same att in inf 4 is hard. plus raising 6 mages takes time in c dungeons. switching from sheps to angmets will take time also ( even triple gem slot is a pain in ass ) ..now im tryin this build with 4 sheps ( mandatory ) surviving is not a problem. setting ur specific gems is a problem for f'2p
good work dude..i played necro since the beginning . or lets say diablo 2....never changed class ;)
Necros ftw! ;)
I hope u find a version that works best for you!
Thanks Auroth for this great video!!! I have a question for you...this build is good only for dungeons or can i use this also for other pve contents?
It works for most pve content. For ow and abyssal plz use more mobility.
@@Auroth_DI Is good also for raid and Gauntlet in your opinion?
Interesting you would pick spite fetor over corrosive slab. Personally I like it best with scattered light mages & executive discontent, but I ran rotted harvest + corrosive slab on this build for a long time before challenge dungeons came out.
100% I should switch the off-hand! 😂
An oversight from my part 🙏
Great input!
@ 😂 it’s such an OP build regardless. I even use it for raids now with minimal changes (4vit/4angmet, scattered light/executive discontent, and blight maw). There’s almost nothing that this build or a very slight variation doesn’t excel at.
@@moloch6 Except for crusader 😂
Well spotted :)
Personally like poison golem. Help with damage a bit 🙂
Yessss another Auorth video ❤️
Back on my main as a necro (after trying sader).
The dps is lower at the dummy bit the initial burst is a lot higher 🙏
Use protector warband room and try to look for some defensive items with both beneficial effect duration and damage taken reduced.
If u struggle a lot u can also switch in a rank5-6 battleguard for now 🙏
U can also change the helmet to the one that lets your golem take a,portioj of your dmg. The golem will heal itself from corpses anyways :)
Try to experiment with these and see what works best for you :)
@Auroth_DI those are some awesome ideas, thank you so much!
PS. I'm glad ur back as Necro :D
Love the intro music.
Me too! 😍😏
Can we use slayer paragon cripple one to make the loss of control affix dmg increase and use poison golem combine?
I am quite sure that lowered attack speed alone does not count as loss of control 🙏
Also poison golem only applies a dot when using its base attack (onto one single target)
The golem used here will be a lot more efficient imo 😊
Same as crusader (i also talk about the reforges in the essence segment of this video) 😊
Its like running 100m in 9.80 or 13.50 🤷😂
Is this the build featured on Indez's video?
He showed a clip where I was playing the mobility version of this build that does not include the golem ☺️
I can't help but wonder though how you keep your toon alive in those challenge dungeons.
My too?
@@Auroth_DI toon (character)

Hej auroth, thx for another great video. Love your detailed videos. Your are such a blessing for us!
May I ask you, which build you use for raids? I want to improve my dmg there.
For normal raids I dont really experiment a lot but for gauntlet I would optimize with a fire banner purge combo 🙏
Hi Auroth.. do you think you can do a Video for Making a Tanky Crusader that won’t die a lot in Pve ?
I might look into something like it someday but remember that offense is the best defense 😉
Jokes aside, there is def some content where survivability is more vital but to go full defensive is most often not the optimal strat imo 🙏
@@Auroth_DI Thanks Auroth !
Working on a necro now. Missing the shoulders and first main hand for this build. Can't wait to try it out! Are the curse(s) self-explanatory? If not, would you tell us what they are?
Atrophied would be my main choice 🙏
Yes! Finally the video I have been waiting for! Hi Auroth. Thank you for another quality video.
Voluk Nyx, Sholaksul. (I know I completely butchered this so please forgive me 😂)
Vorukh Nyx! Sholak Zul! 😍
Great build and nice in depth explanation of it.
But why aren't you using Chip of Stone Flesh it can do insane amount of damage to enemies who have loss of control effect on them from 45% to 270% .
It requires total loss of control which necro cant apply in an efficient way 🙏 (fear does not make the cut for efficient)
Also for clarification: The main dmg gain from chip would be the consistent armor break.
The numbers u refer to is a one-time tick of % of base damage when the total loss of control effect ends (not a dmg modifier)
@@Auroth_DI Fear + Slow from zombies warriors that slow is doing it for me.
TOTAL loss of control. Slow is not a total loss of control. That would be blind, fear, stun, freeze and some exceptions like mocking laughter taunt and jolt immobilization. Knockups/knockbacks are not a loss of control at all.
@@allenaddison6111 I double checked and According to Blizzard slow is under loss of control idk. It makes sense/logic
Also, you only need 2/4 lance Elegos. It will stack up the speed to max
I have released quite many dh videos but it has been a while since last time.
The new essences has not been appealing to me for quite a few batches 🤷
@Auroth_DI ik seems the Devs have nerfed or don't care much about DH. Maybe you could check out all the essences and hopefully find something that could work. I currently have been using 1 of your blds from some time ago. Lol.
@Auroth_DI i watch a few other YT ers that play DH and really don't think they understand the essences like you do. I suck at it personally.
@billtodd2194 i get that, just wanted to try and get something better ,dps, than i am currently doing. 😞. Sad how much Devs hate DH. Thanks.
whats the best gem if i dont have seeping bile
and is another dot gem a must or is viper enough
Everlasting.
What is enough? ;)
@@Auroth_DI Will have Everlasting on lvl6 more dmg output or berserker on 10

broooo with 6k res all builds are working fantastic. but with 500-2000 its not working so fast and damage is not so high :(
I got 3k and work just fine, just lower expectations. Think still best build for challenge dungeon and raids.
What are your secondaries like? The higher the potency and armor pen the better. Just curious
A lot of posts on reddit or comments on youtube talk about CR, Reso and Secondaries but most of those comments are made by people who don’t understand the game fully yet 🤷
Easiest way to improve in PvE fast for most ppl is to look at the magical attributes of their items.
It might take some time but it will save you tons of time in game and make your output a lot lot better for different types of content 🙏😊
yes your ryt hehe.
Sader 🤝 Necro
please make also build for tempest ❤❤
Might happen quite soon 🙏
@ thank you
Blood knight please 😢 build for dungeons
i prefer the movement speed on the shoulder, I'm already killing monster quickly enough
Yes this is a great option for sure 😊👍
2/4 lance eternal legos all you need for speed. Use lance twice and it will stack the speed to max
Your build doesn't matter if you already have a high resonance
This statement is not true 🤷
Can you please ellaborate?
Theres no getting to them auroth. They will always point blame at reso for their laziness and not properly tuning their character. LITTLE DETAILS MATTER!
Good video. I think the damage is just too high since you’re dealing an overkill dps to a normal mob which is high in quantity.
The dps is a bit bloated because of that.
Still, the damage is still high. Do you have a barb challenge build too?
Thanks buddy!
The overkill with this archetype was more present in normal dungeons but ofc there are some overkill when burst occurs on low health mobs 🙏
If u check the total health of mobs the burst for me is now more equal to the total health than before 😊
I have not played barb a lot lately though 😔
Tempest please
nice
The main problem with this build is that the necromancer is not a melee class, he takes full damage. I'd like to see how this build works against three Butchers :) also you don't use essences from trift, which give +40 movement speed. To summarize, I will say this - this is not the best build for dungeons, it is slow and vulnerable.
p.s. I've been playing as a necromancer since the game's release, so I know a little about it.
Yes that affix would be superb :)
Feel free to use whatever build works best for you.
For me this setup works best from all I have tried but it is nice that people have different opinions and playstyles 😃
When it comes to survivability in c dungs that won’t be an issue once u reach end game. You can also avoid most dmg quite easily if you move correctly.
I am always happy when I meet a fellow main necro. If u see my profile pic I approve of that 😎
Which build is your favourite?
You can use both new bone armor essences from chest and pant, never die.
What is the best then? Don't criticize, make a claim and not show anything.
Time to switch to necro
Nice buddy! Let me know how it works out for ya! 😃
No Mother's Lament?
He doesn't need
After familiars and runes with chc it is no longer a part of my core setup for most content 🙏
yyeah all this only because you have gems on such scale and potency otherwise this build is nothing special on 2-3 k resonance pls
There are always a few people who writes comments like this but you and they are wrong imo. This setup will work superb for anyone even at low reso (as long as they study the full guide in detail)
Feel free to try it out and tell me how it goes but make sure to focus on all the details and not just copy the essences. My guess is that you have not tried it yourself yet?
If you follow the suggestions I give in my videos you will improve A LOT no matter if you are f2p or a whale 🙏
Good luck!
Then they doubt that little things will make be difference in performance.
yeah already try but not high as you ahahahh... because reso 900 only
