    Thanks for this great conversation with the single biggest influence in guitar of our generation. A brilliant man in so many respects who has changed and contributed soooo much to the guitar, the amp and even pedals. When it comes to chasing the sound, let them all know, Paul has found it.     I gotta share this kismet moment... as the subject turned to Hendrix, I glanced at my (silent) television screen to check the score on an NBA game. At that exact moment, players tumbled to the floor fighting for a rebound. Dominating the camera angle was a players calf tattooed with HENDRIX in large (era correct) psychedelic lettering !!

    Interesting how the tonewoods also happen to be the most visually appealing woods. You'd think density, grain pattern or water composition would matter but everything I see with PRS it seems to be that the best visually looking woods produce the best tone.
