Time stamps 00:05 Why would i have a voltage sense relay or an ACR when I have a source selector battery switch? 02:30 Should I start the engine on my house battery or should start my engine on the engine battery? 03:55 Should I install a battery monitor and how do I use a battery monitor?
Rudi, good questions: 1) Source selector battery switch is a manual way of combining your batteries, a battery combiner does so automatically, connecting and disconnecting batteries from being in parallel without the boater operating the switch 2) IMO, always start engine with engine battery, that way you know you have a good engine battery when you are on the water. 3) Definitely yes to battery monitor, lots of videos on our channel on using a battery monitor.
