Why are most travel backpacks so heavy? Don’t the designers know there’s a thing called carry on weight limit?
Hey! It's a mystery to me too! Maybe they think we all have superhero strength? 😄 Seriously though, it's a head-scratcher. Lighter backpacks = happier travellers! I hope they can reconsider it in the future.
They're designed for US flights, by US companies where the carry on weight limit is a lot higher. A lot of carriers in europe too don't have a weight limit, but a volume limit. Weight limits of under 7kg are only really a thing in south east asia and the pacific.
Oooh it’s a CHUNKY boy.
The AirTag pocket is challenging to get to and insert the tag because it is in a narrow pocket and it’s hard to fit your hand into it.
Given its narrow pocket, inserting the tag can be challenging, especially for those with larger hands. A potential solution could be to use a tool, like a ruler or a long, slender object, to help guide the AirTag into the pocket:)
Are there any similar bags to this (suitcase-style, with some huge pockets that can be sealed off with mesh like a suitcase, large) that are cheaper with some nice features and feel? I love the style of this backpack and its similarity to a suitcase for bulk packing, but I hate the price.
Hi there! We wanted to let you know about our amazing website, rushfaster.com.au, where you can find a variety of travel backpack options. We would love for you to take a look and see if any of them catch your eye :)

this is not an advertisement channel. We walk through products so you can see if you want to buy them or not. You can only make that decision if you know what the product is all about and all the details.
Can you make a video on the 18L Mous backpack without lid. Not with lid or 25L. I want to see the 18L
Hello Thanks for your suggestion! We'll definitely consider making a video specifically showcasing the 18L Mous backpack without the lid. Stay tuned for updates!
Do the two internal compartments essentially share the same space with the divider? Meaning if you pack one too much it takes up space immediately away from the pocket on the other side of the divider?
I would guess yes
No, actually it acts as non-Euclidean geometry and breaks the fabric of space and time meaning it's possible to pack more inside than the total volume.
The Pakt Travel Backpack 2 features two internal compartments separated by a divider. While the divider helps to organize and separate your items, the compartments essentially share the same space within the backpack. If you pack one compartment too much, it may encroach upon the space of the other compartment, especially if the divider is not rigid or if the items are bulky. This design allows for flexibility in packing, but it's important to consider the balance of items in each compartment to optimize space and avoid overcrowding.
Still haven't come across something that can top Samsonite Bleisure 17.3" 34/39L
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! The Samsonite Bleisure 17.3" has certainly made a lasting impression on you. If you have any specific features or aspects you appreciate about it, we'd love to hear more. Safe travels!
I was drawn to this the travel pack for the less attention grabbing (thus less prone to theft or robbery) design, color choices and durable materials used. The clamshell dividers are uniquely practical for a more wrinkle free travel. I like the zip out expansion pack that can also fit the 15 liter day pack while transiting but one has also the option of using it as part of the under seat stowage in a larger commercial plane too. I am guess 45 +10 =55 liters in total would not be accepted at carry-on by most airlines. The 15 liter day pack with that is amazing flexibility both sliding into the expansion pouch or under the seat carry-on is perfectly thought out.
The 35 & 45l v2 travel back pack is out of stock and overprice for non US residence. It does not include the 15l day back which is another overpriced $185USD. The daisy chain loops don’t have much of a functional use. The hip strap does no longer double as a fanny pack as like in version 1. I would to compression packing cubes instead of the PakT branded ones regardless of the loops. The clip-on pouches are very expensive for they lack luster utility. There are more functional and cheaper one out there that make more sense. The front 2 pouches can’t be combined into an one cable locking system like Peak Designs 45 liter. The aluminum back stays have been replaced with a cheaper plastic set. The water bottle pouch is not long enough to be used alternatively, as a tripod or monopole & stand pouch.
Thank you for providing such detailed feedback on your experience with the Pakt Travel Backpack 2. We truly value your insights and understand your considerations regarding the design, functionality, and pricing aspects. Your points about the out-of-stock items, pricing for non-US residents, and the features like daisy chain loops and clip-on pouches are duly noted. We're constantly striving to enhance our products, and your input will certainly help us in refining future iterations. If you have any additional thoughts or suggestions, we'd be grateful to hear them. Feel free to reach out anytime!
is the 35 or 45
This is the 45L
= Love bag but looking for a slingbag when get off work have change clothes
If you love the Pakt Travel Backpack 2 but need something smaller like a sling bag for after work and changing clothes, you have plenty to choose from Peak Design, Aer, Bellroy, Patagonia, and Nomatic:)
45L doesn’t fit under seat of Spirit or Frontier airlines fyi
The 45L (or 35L) goes in the overhead. The 15L secondary bag can be taken out to store under the seat and use in flight.
never mind
Thank you for your feedback. If you ever reconsider or have any questions in the future, feel free to reach out. We're here to help:)
