i play this video so often....as i just love both singers.....i actually met Kurt..as we were on the same bill way back in l996...here locally , That was before he was so well known. Great memory. I never knew he'd end up being a huge jazz star. So happy for him.
Patti looks great and sounds as beautiful as ever. I first heard her stunning voice driving from Buffalo to a friends wedding, it was 'when the world turns blue' . I don't believe this was ever released as a single just a collaboration with the awesome Joe Sample who wrote it. Only heard Kurt for the first time last year, still getting to know him but loving what I am hearing. I am so thankful to be living in the times that RUclips is available, my ears are so happy....
