Wow brother that is quite the panfishing kits you got there!!! It is definitely all you need to catch Crappie in any condition or waterway! Great looking ultra light setup Chris! Really enjoy the Panfish Puzzlers! "Hooked into a dolphin!" 🐬😂! Those were all some beauties and fun to watch you catch! Those black nose Crappie are always a pleasant surprise! Great Crappie fishing session! Thanks for sharing!
Got a crappie on Saturday on the new ultralight rig! Loved the looks/performance of your reel so I also now have a DAIWA Revros 1000 reel on an Okuma Celilo UL and am in love with it. Keep up the great work!
I have heard good things on the Okuma Celilo. Looks like a nice UL rod at a great price. I hope your Revros reel brings you as much joy as mine has to me. Such a solid little reel for this type of fishing. Doesn’t get much better than catching a crappie on your brand new combo! Great job. Good luck out there.🙏🐟
Awesome footage Pistol. I can listen to that drag and watch that rod tip all day man lol👌🏾🎣. Thanks for all the hard work can't wait to put an order in for a bunch of those stickers. Got plans for them that's forsure
Yes! Varivas line is so good! I just started trying it this Summer after my friend Randy Goad over at the channel @troutmagnetman put me onto it. I’ve watched him use it for a long time, but only recently tried it myself. Now I love the Blue Moon! Thank you for watching!🙏🐟
No worries, love the information “always important “. I’ll check out your buddy channel too🐟on, also if you never try BFS before ?”you should”.I throw 1.5 BG-1”I-fish “on straight braid with no problems”50 feet +”
Those were some Slabs! I always enjoy your Ultralight Fishing expeditions and the Crappie fishing tips. Definitely another Panfish Pandemonium Video. Love that you have merch available now that I will be checking out. That was truly a beauty at 6:50. Awesome action and presentation per usual !!!
Thank you so much!🙏🐟 I really appreciate you watching and the kind words. I always enjoy hearing the water drip from the net…. because it means there is a panfish in it!😄
Thank you for your video, it is fun to watch someone fish the way most of us do. I just watched 1:30 of another video that actually had someone scoping for another gamer. “Move it left, back right a little, down a little, up a little and fish on” before he even felt the bite. Keep up the great videos.
Nice video! You hauled in a few slabs, and I expected some fish sandwiches, but you left me to my own devices for supper...! Good thing I cooked that pot of Pork & Sausage Jambalaya yesterday! Let's do fish next time! :p God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA
Another great video. I just picked up TCB rod working on finding a reel to go on it. Really like the daiwa reels also. Enjoy how you go over your equipment at start of each video. Going to have to check your store out. Keep up the great work.
Those black nose are a cool looking fish, definitely love all the colors on them! Great job on the video brother, I especially liked the demonstration of the bait in the water.
Iv been figuring them out here in northern WI past 2 years during summer, when most people dont, or know how to fish them suspended. Its my favorite fish to catch and Im absolutely fished out and tired from +150 of them past 2 weeks. And A LOT of big +12" fish. Cheapest locator, same style cheap jig/plastics super glued on. Just figure out what depth they are at and use super slow horizontal movements. I even got my stubborn dad to quit buying minnows and use jig's.
Sounds like you are living the dream, my friend!👍 That’s my idea of fishing. I haven’t bought live bait in 3 years now since I started using Trout Magnets and other lures. So convenient and fun to learn the different techniques, in my opinion. Thank you for watching and keep slaying those crappie up there!🙏🐟
nice way to show the pellets in the water Chris! Interesting fact with the Crappie and Bluegills n Hawaii and Alaska. Rut Row...lol Don't thick that's a Crappie! Those white bass can fight! Could you imagine catching a 5lb 7oz Crappie? 😮 Those blacknose crappie are really cool. A lot of beautiful crappie my friend, great video as alway!!
Awesome video!! I went fishing Saturday I caught 87 fish bass bluegill crappie perch fall fish you should try Berkley Automatic Teaser amazing bait!! That's my top bait catch everything ... Now I have 5 presso rods and Daiwa revos rail 1000 and 2500 I like the 1000xh carry smooth. Thank for recommendation on those rods you should post that video back up
Love the videos! I'm pur having some Varivas line today. 10 bucks off first order. Thought that was really cool on first order. I'm also purchasing a Daiwa Presso 5 ft 6 inch rod like you use and pairing with Shimano Stradic 1000 my dad has from year 2000 or 2001. He's mailing it to me so I can clean and oil it up. See if I can fix bail on it. Those are expensive nice reels. Hope it will go well with the Daiwa Presso like you use. I'm buying Varivas Ester in clear 1.75 pound test and 2.5 pound test Nylon line they sell. I'll let you know how I do. Thanks. Love your channel!
Oh, man! You are gonna have a killer setup! I’m excited for you just reading about it.😄 If you aren’t already subscribed to his channel, go check out @troutmagnetman here on RUclips. Randy is the one who showed me Varivas lines and he’s been fishing them for a long time. He’s probably got more actual on the water experience with the ester, nylon, fluoro, and mono lines than anyone out there. Wealth of knowledge on Varivas lines, JDM gear and ultralight fishing in general. Thank you so much for watching and keep us posted on the setup and how it does.🙏🐟
Awesome catches for this time of year Chris! Always a surprise catching them black nose crappie. Them dolphins really test that set up. 😂 I been using that SOS 2lb line out. Other than not being able to see it to tie a jig on it's some great ultra light line for panfish. Great looking merch buddy! Another excellent video. 💪
Yes! It sure does. 2lb SOS actually has a break strength of over 3lbs, I believe. The Blue Moon will break very close to its actual rating of 1.7lbs. I learned from Randy Goad over at the channel @troutmagnetman that the Varivas lines all break close to their actual ratings, unlike most American lines. But both of them are fantastic for different applications. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!🙏🐟
Thank you so much! I live in East TN and fish most all the lakes in the area. We are blessed to have a healthy population of fish in nearly every body of water in this area. TWRA does a great job managing our fisheries.
Both blacks and white crappie. Our lakes etc in southeast Michigan had both until the zebra mussels came in about twenty years ago. Now only black crappie haven’t caught a white in years. The mussels cleared up the water a lot, now the bluegill and shellcracker populations and size are better than ever. Black crappies are still there but the whites are gone?
Bluegill, Shellcracker, and Crappie….sign me up, please.😄 Strange about the lack of white crappie, though. Have you thought about emailing your local wildlife agency to ask about that? Here in Tennessee, we have the TWRA. They are great about answering questions on local fisheries and know a lot about what’s going on. Thanks so much for watching!🙏🐟

You got plenty of slabs for the measuring board in this one! I don't think I've ever caught one of those mohawk Crappie... pretty neat!
Yessir! Thanks fellas!

Thank you so much! I really like the Daiwa Regal LT 1000 with my TCB rod or the Daiwa QZ-750…. Which is crazy light. Both are smooth reels.
Nice looking lake. You're making me want to pull out my crappie lures.
Haha! Do it! Get out there and chase some crappie. Fall is just around the corner. So much fun. Than you so much for watching and commenting, Ron!🙏🐟
I enjoy all your videos.Nice and peaceful. That Daiwa drag sounds awesome. Your intro is great. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much, Tommie! I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. 🙏🐟
Nice video and I love the nice hats as well . That’s a handsome young model you have there 😊❤
Thank you so much! Yep…there may be a future in modeling for my sidekick here. 😀🐟

Another excellent video. 💪
Thank you so much, Stacee! I’ve seen you using the SOS in some of your videos. Good stuff!🙏🐟
You ever keep and eat fish? You should do catch and cook videos.
That’s a cool idea… if I ate them.😁 These days, I just enjoy catching them and returning them to fight another day.🐟
Great video! Looking for a new net what are you using?
Thanks so much, Frank! The net I have is a Frabill folding net. I purchased it from Bass Pro Shops for around $18, I think.
How do you clean your bluegill? Filet? What oil and batter you use?
Replied to another comment… but in case you don’t see it…I don’t actually eat fish anymore. I just catch them for fun.
Nice video. Have you noticed with the Varivas 1.7lb line that it breaks easier than the SOS 2lb?
Yes! It sure does. 2lb SOS actually has a break strength of over 3lbs, I believe. The Blue Moon will break very close to its actual rating of 1.7lbs. What lake is that you fish on in Tennessee? Looks beautiful and you always catch fish.
Thank you so much! I live in East TN and fish most all the lakes in the area. We are blessed to have a healthy population of fish in nearly every body of water in this area. TWRA does a great job managing our fisheries.
dang i just bought like 24 pack of crappie magnets no to long ago just to find out about the ROO
Ha! Don’t worry… the original is a crappie killer for sure. Pick some Roos up on the next order. They are super cool! Thanks so much for watching!
