Just wondering, should you do this with the pilot still lit? I know not to spray and clean near the fireplace but I’m unsure if I need my husband for the pilot stuff. What do you recommend?
The first 25 seconds is a crack up. 3 intro songs! Bold. To be serious, though, I came here because I have heat & glow gas fireplace with a fixed mesh wire screen directly in front of the glass, and I can't identify anything removable that will allow me to access the glass for cleaning.
I had what I thought was a fixed mesh screen for over 14 years. I hired a new fireplace inspector he said why do you have this baby screen on the fireplace and popped it right off - it’s sitting in the garage now so there must be a way to get it off.
“What we use to clean our glass is a glass cleaner such as this” then holds up a tiny bottle of something impossible to see nor explained in video. Such as WHAT? Product name? Thank you.

Mine simply swings open from the right-hand side.

The glass cleaner they are using is Rutland White Off
