the universe reset does not kill ppl, it brings living beings from the old world to the other world, with all their memory intact, people who were killed recently before the universe reset are brought back to life in different bodies and no memories of anything prior, if the universe rest where to kill ppl, it would defeat the whole point of the entire Heaven plan, as it is made to bring people peace of mind knowing what will happen to them.
I love this animation. This is exactly the kind of transformation I want to see when a manga is animated. Some of the fans had great ideas for interesting visuals, but it's no wonder the animators couldn't just copy stuff like this. Still, I feel like the production of Stone Ocean didn't live up to it's fullest potential, but productions rarely ever do, so I won't dwell on it.

For those trying to avoid being spoiled, a good way to know is if the suit is blue or black, in the actual anime they changed it to black.
