Per FAQ both versions of the Vulkyn Runefather have been changed to 150 points! That's a big discount for both version -15/20 points and will make the box 1000pts
Being a Fyreslayers player, These guy are really good! I love how all has a range, which helps out with their speed issue, and that other speed ability is a pretty good! I’m so hype for this Warband!
It blows my mind that the points issue was not caught by GW before release, that seems absurd! I'll still get the box cos they look amazing, but that is a pretty embarrassing blunder 😂

I had not realised the points added up to over 1k. Maybe that was why I was finding it so difficult to came up with a list with them 😂
In my opinion the Scalabreaker with Bokaz is wrongly costed, it makes not sense it cost the same as the splitaxe wielding one, one extra Strength is much better than one extra Crit Damage. So maybe the issue with points is an ereara and the Bokaz costa 90pts really
The Bokaz does do more damage against T3 and does a good chunk more damage with Ignite Weapons. So I can see a reasoning for it even if I'm not convinced. What's weirder imo is the Bokaz with the leader is +1 strength compared to the Axe but it's the reverse with the Scalebreaker. Bokaz has better crit in both but Leader Axe has an extra dice. Dunno if that would be reasonable to mirror it when you break down the numbers but that did stick out to me.
Just bought that warband and i am pissed a little bit, having a box over 1000pts , hq with bokaz , the bokaz is S5 , and axe S4, if you check scalebreaker its bokaz S4 and axe S5, so i am wonder if its a miss print for stats , and if ever they change a price in between bokaz and axe for scalebreaker that mean we might have a way to play 1000pts so i dont know what to do for now maybe i will wait for a FAQ from GW before build them lol, but they look so cool :)
Honestly, the best thing to do is work out what ally you want and work with the points as is. Your warband will be much improved and you can forget about GWs f-up!
So you could with the Kyndledroth use Blazing Impetus to Move-Move-Move, then use the Drothmaster to have the Kyndledroth Move-Move-Attack. 1015-1020pt for the whole Warband is sad. You cant use all the models in the box.

Wow. I'm a Slayer fan, I have Chosen Axes....but this is a pass for me. I get 8 in a Move 3 warband......
Iron Golems seem better.
