Another trick to help evacuate the gas quicker is putting a penny in the cap (under the base of the c02 cartridge), and drill a small hole in the cylinder. That'll help the cylinder shells pop a little quicker.
Definitely. I never really got much of a result from the penny, and I try to keep mods from being permanent in case I change my mind. But if you want them to pop fast, a hole will definitely help
@@pingu.0211 Yeah, the penny trick can be hit or miss. I need to get some of those kydex holsters, those are sweet.
@@relyt_gnast link in the description! Just double check your sizes to make sure you order the right one.
Thanks for the disassembly. So annoying every other video just doesn’t show that so thank you for that and for the other great info
that sweater looks so comfy
Thanks, we have a thief problem where I live so I want to pour alittle Oc powder in the shell, then some razzle dazzle… trip wire.
I have had the cap on the cylinder break on a use the spoon also broke with that use. These things are great though one of mine is super delayed to where they think its a dud and all run bak in the room haha.
I use the soundflash shells on an unmodified core, and those things go off within 3 seconds always. I've never had to do anything to get it to go off faster
where can i buy these? i have one but it is missing the outer shell and it has the top peice but it doesnt have the handle thing idk what its called
the part where you say that screwing out the end cap for one turn is pretty darn dangerous i tried at and basically exploded and the cap flew 3m away from the shell and the shell+core flew so high that it landede in a tree 2m above me :O
1 tip. Regularly check the tightness of the nut that holds the needle. If it come of. When it blow I sends the needle flying and you never will find it.. guess how I know 😂
😂
😂😂 how do you know?
@@shookon23 only found it when i ordered another one.😅
Nice tips. Do you find the grommet to be pointless? I took mine out cause it wasn't really doing anything.
Yeah I either lost mine or never used it. Either way haven’t really needed it. I suspect it makes it a little safer to drop. But that’s it
@@pingu.0211 right. The way mine are, between the pin and the cap there's enough pressure to keep the cartridge in place.
Technically, the rubber grommet is there to keep the co2 cartridge centered with the needle! It's not strictly necessary, it will work without it... But it's good to have!
What did you use to write your initials on the metal pieces?
I use a oil based paint pen mostly. I use it for everything at this point!
Every one of these I have used has ripped the black collet right off the threads first time it goes off. Any suggestions?
I had the same thing happen to mine after 3 shells.
Same
Have you ever experienced where the shell threads get stuck in the head of the grenade? I got two heads that are inoperable because of that…
Had the same issue, try unscrewing the cylinder itself from the striker. Once I did that the shell came right off.
Guy at the airsoft store told me to leave one thread exposed or it won’t come off.
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or it’s just my bad luck with thunder Bs but I’ve blown off two firing pins, and lost a cylinder assembly:
Is that place in the intro in Cali?
Yup
@@pingu.0211 what’s the name of the park if you don’t mind me asking

@pingu.0211 damn. I haven't been there in years, and I'm happy to see they are still open.
For me it happened too that aluminium black thingy wasn torn apart after the first use.. btw I have tightend it As much as I could.. so disapponting
Same
Yeah, quality seems to be hit or miss lately. I've had a similar issue with one as well
Have had 4 of these cores absolutely obliterate themselves lol.
10:50 Yeah so I can reach for the nade and catch my hand on the fuckin cotter pin 🤣I get your point tho
🤷🏻♂️ pros and cons!
Your cylinder ones aren’t going off because they’re designed to have bbs in them to take up the dead space
Yeah that’s not correct bud. If you read the manual it says under “safety tips” you are not supposed to add any “material” inside. Also a lot of fields ban that practice because it’s unregulated BB’s flying out. I would strongly recommend against doing that.
