I looked at the link you shared but the Hamilton Beach food processor looks different t than the one you used in the video with the black section on the top of the processor. Love this recipe! I've made it three times now. It is a nice light cheesecake. Some cheesecakes have the consistency of solid cream cheese. This one is light like a jello refrigerator cheesecake.
Looking in the comment section of Amazon oncerning the springform pan it seems to have issues with flaking and peeling. Have you found this to be so? Do you still recommend this pan? I wouod like to purvhase it but not sure now.
How can a person print out the recipe? Do I need to type it up myself? I would rather look at a hard copy recipe when making it instead of trying to follow a video. BTW I did make it and it was fabulous.
I see most people use eggs? Is that because you have the heavy cream, sour cream ( am using corn starch)! I had it ALL in the pot then ready to go! INSTANTLY got the burn notice lol UGH forgot my water in the bottom!
Your web page doesn’t have the ingredients listed with measurements only the directions to work the recipe.. your recipe looks good but without proper printed directions it’s no good .. thanks anyway Amy
Why didn't you say that it makes enough for two cheesecakes? It filled my entire pan and wasted product. Should have said to fill it half way to avoid wasted food. You filled your pan about half way before baking.
Jose I have the same issue too. The filling is 2x and I was wondering why. Went through her recipe and confirmed I got everything right. The only difference I think it’s that I used a hand mixer and she used a food processor. Maybe the hand mixer fluffed up the heavy cream it’s not supposed to?

Thank you... how did you get the bottom of the spring pan off?
It has latches on the side that lock to hold the bottom in, and when unlatched, it loosens enough that it comes out.

Try skipping the heavy cream. You don't need cream if you're using a cup of sour cream & be sure to pressure cook for 40 minutes.

Just wondering why you use the paper towels
The paper towels absorb whatever moisture that finds it's way into the cake pan so the batter doesnt end up too wet to work.

I don't understand why your cheesecake has cracked. I bake mine for 26 minutes. Maybe you're baking yours for to long? Mine didn't have cracks.
The cheesecake probably wasn’t at room temp when it was put in the fridge.

Dont cover it.. simply dab the top with a paper towel.. covering will give you the big crack as seen on her cake

Never use mixer or processor for eggs, that's why it cracked.

That’s nonsense and untrue. Cracks are caused by moisture loss during cooking. And nobody cares.
