Getting to spend one on one time with each child is always a blessing ❤️ Sounds like you all have a great summer ahead! Thank you for hosting this collaboration Abby! You and Jessica are so thoughtful for putting these topics together for others to join in on.
We do the same thing!!!!! Year round schooling even lighter schedules is school but not in the traditional sense. Love your channel. I'm an older mama. Early 40's 😱 Graduated my first kiddo in 2020 using CM methods and he's doing great in his college class of EMT and will continue at our local college for Fire school. I am schooling five now from 17-6. Love your channel. 🥰👍
We are going to do a weekly book club/tea party, Summer BrainQuest workbooks (they loved them last year), a bird unit, daily gameschooling and a summer reading challenge. They’ll also continue their piano lessons with Hoffman Academy, they are going to farm camp and my parents are taking my oldest two on an RV trip to with Oregon and Washington coasts, which will hopefully give me lots of one on one time with my youngest to do some special activities with her.
Thank you guys for creating this collab. Wishing I lived in Florida lol. Sunshine in the morning and cuddling up on the couch during afternoon rainstorms is all me.
My kids will be doing some printing, typing, and one child will be doing some multiplication. We have such long miserable winters here that as soon as it warms up we want to take full advantage of that short window and be outside all day.
Thank you so much for hosting this collab each month! It has been such an amazing experience and I’ve so enjoyed “meeting” so many homeschooling moms in this community!
I am for sure going to join this collab next year! I love all of your videos! Great ideas! We plan on doing some school til mid June then of course we will read every day and do some fun projects!
Would also love to see your summer packs/folders!! Also, what do you do if any of your kids don't want to do those summer packs? How do you still get them to do summer "school" work? Thanks for your AWESOME ideas!!!
I love the learning packet and ice cream idea! We are year round homeschoolers, too, and this seems to make it a little different while continuing the learning. I also love the baking bucket list idea. Have you seen Campfire Curriculums Professional Chef unit? It would be perfect for some fun in the kitchen!
I always have a million things I need to do over the summer--just the other day I said to myself, This fridge needs to be cleaned. ... I'll do it next month in the summer. 😂😂😬 Year round school all the way!💕💕
We are getting ready to take our "break" also bc we homeschool year-round also and our year pretty much starts in January. We are taking a lot of time off in June, then starting back in July.
Thank you for sharing! Your summer sounds idyllic for sure. I hope you thoroughly enjoy all these wonderful memories you are creating with your kiddos. 😊
I love your top it’s so cute!! We’re doing school straight through the end of August because I’m due in September so we’ll take our “summer” break in September/beginning of October. Honestly it’s still super hot here anyway so I’m sure the kids won’t even notice lol. Love all your fun ideas!!
You mentioned WWII books. Which ones do you recommend (looking for curriculum if possible)? My son really wants to learn more about it, he is going into 4th grade. Loves to read.

I would love to hear more on the kids' independent Bible study time. Is there a reading plan that they follow or their choice?
