Was trained on and used both types. Give me the Devo suit any day over the charcoal. They were too thick to breath (think dbl stuffed Carhartts), hotter than hell and every drop of sweat (or rain, if your lucky) just made the thing heavier (and expire faster). They were a nice idea, but shit in reality that's why many militaries stopped using them
Wearing it outside in the cold is a good idea actually, I have a Ukrainian extreme cold weather suit and it is very similar to a NBC suit, a bit more comfortable and warmer but does similar functions.
@@Weaponsandstuff93 i had a nbc seminar, where the evening after got really cosy, I spend a night, in the toilets, in a NBC suit, woke up and puked and then fell asleep, more than once, the day after my koleges had a different experience then i had, most of them had to go fot a puke when we got to the CS chamber.
have a question i understand this is an old video how long would a charcoal suit last the source i looked at said something like, unlimited when sealed, 14 days unsealed, 6-8 hours in heavy chemicals. is this true? would it be better to buy an older rubber suit or stock up on these? they’re not too bad only like $25 on ebay for the charcoal suit and they’re from early 1990s
Eventually even sealed they will expire. Hard to give a real number I'm afraid. They still offer water protection, and are easy to decontaminate. I'd still get one for $25 sort of price as much better than nothing.
Weaponsandstuff93 ah okay thanks for the quick response on such an old video! i’ll look into the rubber ones for sure but as you said these are good for the price. thanks bro love the vids
You could put one of those and a gas mask during a protest, and be pretty much invisible against tear gas right? Worst problem I figure would be the sweat haha.
An NBC Suit is grate for making a giant batch of hot sauce
I guess it prevents you getting burned.

Yeah I'd personally trust a rubber or plastic suit more than one that can expire at any time.
Going to sailsbury...
Oh dear.
Thanks so much for these, it’s easier to convince my parents I do need this.
Good video! Also how much is an NBC suit?
£10-100 for most models, depends if you want a very basic rubber/plastic type one or a state of the art charcoal camouflaged suit.
Good for spraying in the garden and strimming the grass!
They can be used for dealing with fire/hot things as rubber doesnt really burn nor conduct heat very well
Good idea.
It can still melt, but good idea
You have gained a new subscriber, congrats! And keep up the good work! 👍
Cheers
I legit heard the water noise on the beginning and thought you were doing number one while making the video
Have you ever reviewed the OZK suit?
Sadly not
Perfect for deep diviving in combo with a Soviet Rebreather
/K/
Or you may explode.
@@Weaponsandstuff93 yeah, I know, somebody did it already
I'm thinking of getting one for my FM12
With corona around now a days it’s a useful item for a pop down to the shops
I really like this channel because the things talked about are interesting and also they respond to comments
Cheers
How much for one of these ?
Lots of Warsaw PACT NBC suits are like £10+ on eBay, I think Beastoree sells the Polish suits with a gas mask kit for like £40 or so.
the Danis NBC, Carcole, suits, we used to call them teddy bear suit, it was werry! warm and therfor really good as a improvised sleeping bags.

I use a full face resp, and a “makeshift” nbc suit to dispatch wasps :]
Where can I buy the same nbc suit you are wearing in the video?
Can you make a vid on Chinese nbc suits?
He was also urinating during this presentation.
Leave it to me to wear a full NBC suit for fishing ha.
Will keep you dry.
Where can I find one of these that has a real sizing chart?

Name of the suit in this video?

Invincible I guess you mean not invisible
Can i hear running water in the background or am I going insane?!
No you are totally sane, it's the fish tank filter, I've started unplugging it on some videos now.
