    In Mizoram we call it Dawl, but we eat the stems in a thin piece and not the leaves. The stems are dried and smoked and we either prepare them as a stew or as part of a curry. But not all plants tho, just some types and usually a smaller one as they are easier to be consumed.

    Looks like turkish dolma but bigger version(some of the turkish people make dolma with meat or olive oil)also in some cities, they use "bakla" or "pakla".Idk that words english 😅

    नमस्ते। मैं उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊं क्षेत्र से हूं। हमारे यहाँ भी अरबी के पत्तो से बिल्कुल ऐसी ही डिश बनाई जाती है। हम लोग उसको अरबी के गुनु कहैते है। फिलिंग में कभी बेसन का उपयोग तो कभी धूली मसूर की दाल को पीस कर उपयोग किया जाता है। भारत के अलग अलग क्षेत्र में रहने के पश्चात भी हम लोग कही ना कही आपस में जुड़े हुए है। डिश शेयर करने के लिए धन्यवाद। विविधता में भी एकता का ये सुंदर उदाहरण है। महाराष्ट्र से उत्तराखंड। ❤

      I have a Ghanaian friend, so I’ll see if she mad it before I’m the states. I know certain things are out of reach, but I enjoy the experience. It’s so wonderful to me, it tastes like a big hug on the plate and every bite is so good!!! So all the love!!!

      UP purvanchal se bahut bada hai, sab jagah UP/bihar mat ghuseda karo. Awadh, Braj, Bundelkhand mein alag naam se jante hai iss vyanjan ko.
