Girl i recently fell down a rabbit hole of hunting vintage coach from the 90s. There's nothing like it. You cant beat the quality. Nobody makes all leather bags like coach from the 90s
Really? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one from the 90’s. I was born in 89 and was a huge tomboy as a kid. Wasn’t isn’t bags or anything girly lol.

Quick tip - if you clip the straps on with the trigger facing outward instead of toward the bag, it lessens the chances that they will unclip themselves. Great video! I also started with Coach so many years ago, then went to LV/Gucci/YSL, and then to Chanel....and now I'm moving back toward Coach. The value can't be beat and I'm still convinced that Coach leather is the best of any brand.

I love the look and feel of this bag! I sold mine just because I didn’t like how long and narrow it was. It didn’t hold all that much and yet isn’t a small crossbody. Just felt like a lot of wasted space but when I see it on RUclips it always catches my eye 😍
I agree, it doesn’t fit much. I wish it didn’t have the middle dividers. I think it would fit more if it didn’t.

Turn the clasps around so the lever is on the outside. Otherwise it will bump against the bag sometimes and open.

The tabby fits so much! I think luxury is all about branding. If you like the tabby feel, you may enjoy the bandit too. It is right up there with Celine quality! You look beautiful Melissa!
I agree with you. When it comes to luxury we are definitely paying for the name. My luxury bags feel like an accomplishment to me. I save all my pennies until I can get the bag, which makes it so exciting but I’m pretty happy with my luxury collection at the moment.

I have a small crossbody bag from 1998 and I loved it so used it to death. The quality is superb although it shows some wear on the corners. Think I paid 100$ for it in the Palm Springs outlet. It was before the logo mania so it does not reveal its name. I do not use it much anymore, but cannot part with it. It still looks amazing 😀

I bought the Coach dreamer wallet to go with my Tabby. Its a slimmer wallet. Its also very sleek and lowkey. No logo on the outside, only on the inside. I also have a coach card holder if i need more room.
I’ve never heard of the dreamer wallet but it sounds perfect.
@@MelissaAdams-Wade It's a older style. I got mine preloved because I wanted a gray one for my gray Tabby. But, a card holder is still thinner and smaller.

Very good info on this bag. I have been looking at Coach bags for a couple of months. And yes, the man that does the leather bag reviews was a big help with his opinion of the coach bags. He also shared Madewell bags were good leather and constructed nicely. I will continue to research the coach bags and watch reviews. I love the aesthetic of this bag, but I don’t want a bag that is hard to clasp and the compartments don’t hold as many items as the Exterior Appears it will. thank you again for a great review
Thank you. I have found ways for my items to fit but it can definitely be annoying. There are some really great bags at coach that do not have the decider in it.

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one struggling with my tabby I returned it for those reasons you mentioned. It's annoying to close and doesn't fit enough because of that divider, plus my cassie 19 had that same issue with the straps unhooking while I was out at a target 😅

I love all the newer coach bags they've come out with .. but I took one back because the straps were constantly coming off .. and I've read so many reviews of other bags that the straps come off.. I hope coach picks better clasps in the future

Hey Melissa I know I’m late to the party 😅 but I love the tabby I was just waiting for the right one and I purchased the soft tabby in the micro signature jacquard print and I love it 😍 the brass C in the front is beautiful and the quality is superb 😊 I think if you brought another tabby it should be the soft tabby as a lot of the cons you mentioned would be solved with the soft tabby by the way your bag is gorgeous 🤍🤍🤍
A lot of people are recommending the soft tabby to me. I definitely need to check it out next time I’m in coach. I haven’t seen one in person yet.

Bit late to the video, but it happens to be the same with the clasp opening, and I only wear one at the time. I found if I turned the clasp the other way around it would no longer get trapped in the flap which was causing the opening. Hope that makes sense 😅

very strange. my tabby 26 in chalk has one less department than yours !!!! I bought from Coach in Regent street so this is very interesting. Mine is 1 year old
I just started to buy coach again but I believe the changed the design. Forever Ebony has a great youtube channel. A lot of her content is on Coach bags.If memory serves me correctly, she has a comparison between the two(the new design and the old design)🤍 hope that helps

@@insafsaadat3565 I haven’t had any color transfer. I ended up selling mine because of the dividers inside of the bag but I do miss it and might buy another one 🤣. So yes I recommend it.

🤣😅 my husband said the same thing but I loved it and couldn’t stop thinking about it so I bought it. It’s a great bag but you have to use slim slgs with it and that can be annoying.
