Meet Meena the Macaque!

A beloved friend here at PfA, Meena was brought to us a year ago by the members of an ashram. They had found her after an incident of electrocution when she was very young, after which they rescued and cared for her. Upon learning that keeping wild animals captive is illegal, they brought her to our centre.
Meena has only one limb and was kept in the observation enclosure for a while after being taken into care by us. She was later shifted to the LTC (Lifetime Enclosure).
Everyone at our center has a special connection with her. Around 3 to 4 years of age now, she has developed a taste for hibiscus!
