Its a shame the Capybara is so low tier, because they are some of the most chill players in the meta. I've yet to see a single toxic Capybara player.
the devs don't want chill players I think. It's like they enjoy aggressive toxic players.

I feel like the beavers are being underrated here. they have the power to change whole ecosystems, they are a crucial support class.
That's what I was thinking.
-The damming skill nerfs the drought effect on the water binome (they can turn desert streams into garden spots to give you an idea of how OP that is) and can actively expand the water binome by digging canals.
-They create ponds deep enough they don't freeze through, giving them liquid water access yearround.
-Their early warning system is superior to that of the prairie dog.
-In the water binome, they're nigh invisible.
-They use a meat shield of other animals that gather around the pond.
-They store food for the winter underwater to keep it fresh and accessed easily where they're safe.
-They mate for life and mom and dad share responsibilities raising the kits.
-If the parents are killed, older siblings can take over parenting duties.
-Males and females are equally capable (with the slightest advantage going to the female).
While it has a risky setup, the beaver's strat is among the most broken in the game once established.
Beavers are op
Agreed. Some of their faults could be attributed to us as well.
They also have a really good matchup against Silverback gorillas and Spider Monkeys.
Like, they are literally a keystone species lmao
It's a shame none of the rodents have a high enough power stat to unlock Hyper Fang.
Well what do you think Rattata evolves from?
If they did, they could Zerg rush the server.
Climaxin Walrus Black Plague> Hyper fang
I think we should all be pretty happy about that. Imagine that trying to snap at your leg armor.
beaver got it, marmot too. Those bastards can take your leg if you mess with them.
Beavers actually can do good damage with their teeth. In the mid 2000s in Calgary ab Canada they had a problem with beavers making dams in the public park that surrounded the river. To combat this, they chained up pitbulls on the banks to keep the beavers away. Long story short the beavers killed all of the dogs and used their corpses in their dams.
😂😂😂😂omg
There should be a documentary about that,
I’d watch 100 percent !
Wth.That was ruthless😱😱
300 Beavers?

Maybe the dogs died from being chained up and left there, outside, in CANADA? Is there footage of this? That sounds, well, crazy. Like The Simpsons plan to get rid of the Bolivian Tree Lizards with snakes, then gorillas, and then winter takes care of the gorillas.
Actually, one problem, Capybaras have a special advantage called “Instantly Ally” and another one called “Switzerland of animals”
Basically, capybaras have a strategy to not die, it’s not pick sides and be switzerland, They also ally with basically every animal, and their main known enemy, the seagull, fails entirely at attacking capybaras, they suck so bad at attacking them, that mom capybaras don’t even bother

Naked Mole Rats have a trait that strongly benefits the eusocial ability that you didn't mention: They're immune to pain, so they readily fight invaders to their warrens to the death, making them extremely hard to predate, and their low requirements for oxygen and food (they can actively slow their metabolic rate when food is scarce) and cancer immunity benefit the fact they have 32 year long lifespans which they regularly survive through. Hell, Naked Mole Rat warrens are sparsely ventilated compared to those of other rodents making them hard to breathe in for predators and could theoretically cause predators spending too much time in the warrens to get sluggish giving the rats a defensive advantage. I definitely think they're B-Tier at worst and their main drawback is their lack of thermoregulation which really limits their potential habitable zones.
I dont know. A lack of pain receptors mean that they also dont know when they should stop and run away. Having low stats all around, fearlessness is not particularly useful and can actually be very detrimental to the individual mole rats.
I remembered hearing a rumor that they have a theoretically infinite playtime cap.
yeah but if an individual is fighting for the good of the colony then he should not be worring about itself , but still they are not straight up immune to pain , they don't feel the continuated pain of a wound but they feel pain when you inflict the wound but then it stops if they can work afterwards they keep on going until the sweet release of death
When your stats are as low as theirs, the ability of being unable to see your current health bar and resistance to intimidation doesn't do much at all.
Also on the downside is that they look like a penis with teeth.
Remember when rodents were heavily buffed after the summer of 1347 patch
Yeah, that was a nightmare. A few million of the human players in the European server either left and uninstalled or kept playing, leading to a faction war on the British Isles segment of the server.
It also lowered the dps of clerics
@@nathanielgarza9198 however it did temporarily open up the human profession of plague doctor, which used methods found controversial in the community to weaken the effects of the rat buff.
You mean fleas? Cause rats got the plague from fleas, the rats didn’t develop it themselves
@@timbuckthe2nd642 the flea buff directly affected the rats, allowing them to become top in the European meta for a while and therefore buffing their 'plague carrier' trait.
I think you somewhat underrated beavers. While it is true that they are incredibly vulnerable before their damn and lodge are completed, the other weaknesses you mentioned aren't much of an issue. In addition to building a pond, beavers dig long channels into the woods. This means that they never need to be far from the water when securing loot. The final weakness you mentioned is even less of an issue. Beaver lodges have underwater entrances. By the time the pond freezes, they're already under the ice. As a result, the ice only serves to make them completely unassailable throughout the winter. I'm sure that particularly careless beavers occasionally screw up and find themselves locked out, but it's a problem that is very easy to avoid.

Tierzoo says squirrels are better than rat.
Meanwhile, rats succeeded to stay in my server for hundreds of years while squirrels barely stay at the most northern part with very few players.
Rats are better in many ways that aren’t mentioned in the video:
They can eat almost everything
They are great swimmers for a land based build, which allows them for many things squirrels fail.
They a great squeezing ability, allowing them to get through passageways most players at their weight class aren’t allowed in.
They are good fighters for the class, having a good grappling ability.
A squirrel once got me stuck in a tree surrounded by barking dogs, I don’t trust any of them
Don't forget that rats can also go without water far longer than camels can
not to mention that flea players can unlock a combo move to spread diseases far and wide that can really mess even Human players game real bad.
This, rats are fucking amazing. I think he done a little goofed concerning rats and I tihnk we can expect a new rat-centered video soon explaining his reasoning better
@Dodoraptor and other animals, Well rats have a higher consistency because they enter areas which houses alot of loot, nor are they picky about which loot they take EXP from. They are still not top tier because their strategy is to be versatile but lack the power needed to take on higher tier classes. Combos are great but you need to end on something with a big number to attack the opponents.
Squirrels are better because they are a rogue class, which has a great match up against the Tier 0 Human class, not to mention the ability to reserve food storage increases the likely-hood of survival, during winter months, when food drops decrease. They make better nest, too because of the hibernation process they go through.
Beavers have one of the best match-ups against trees, almost as good as humans.

9:03 -- actually there is a player class perfectly adapted to hunt porcupines: the Fisher. These big weasels run circles around the porcupine until they can get a shot at its unprotected face, then they crush its skull in one bite.
I think the way squirrels used their evolution points to make themself look cute to human players, is also a big part of their success. Especially in city biomes. While the match up might not be good enough for a direct support role, without this trait many human players would probably bully them away from player build structures or out of city biomes completely. I was curios to see how wild hamster could make their way in the tier list, if they would have reached at least e tier but from what i know, these players are only little exp bags in nature against almost every vertebrate but their texture makes them a good accessory for human builds
I appreciate that you included no rat alberta. Shows you did your research!
jordan kolybaba how can a whole province not have any rats?
well it refers to the fact that there are not any wild rats that can be allowed to breed there is a very extensive rat control service in place that kills any coming in from other provinces. Additionally, any that are not captured usually die off in the winter months. Of course there are feed rats for snake owners but they must be neutered or spayed and if any do happen to get in one phone call and someone will be dispatched to take care of the pest.
I have no idea, we have never had rats, I thought other provinces were free tho.
*+jordan kolybaba* Thanks, I was just wondering exactly that!
Nah, that's just propaganda pushed by Trudeau ;)
I love the way Alberta was omitted for the rat's range... priceless!!!
Enjoy your freedom while it lasts, Alberta.
It's funny, but it's also true. Alberta wiped out all their rats years ago, and made sure to stay rat free.
They work very hard at that
Rats are banned in Alberta?
@@specmoment3592 yes, we banned them after we caught them using cheats to spread virus's, destroy buildings and kill crops.
Now I am curious about where Fishers (Pekania Pennanti) end up in the ranking, as they are not only able to take down porcupines, but seem to preferentially kill them to such a degree that Fishers were reintroduced to Vermont to deal with porcupines killing all the new timberland trees. That general fisher/marten/weasel/etc type of build interests me
That starting clip got me good🤣
That cat player at the start must've been pretty new to the game lol
nah it probably put all its skill points into human-manipulation abilities. why hunt for food when you can compel humans to feed you?
The chipmunk player was clearly a seal clubber using their experiance to humiliate the relitively new cat player.... It's stuff like this that turns new players off this game.
@@wetlettuce4768 (/outside) Oh, cat suicide then :(
Lol noob
Smurfing is a very real problem in lower tiers, but to be honest I'd rather have veterans playing those types of builds than there being more Orca mains.
I tried out a beaver build for a little bit; dam good
KumaPaws376 The door is there ---> [].
Use it. Please.
...
Alexander Hansson oh shit lel
love this collab
There's one specific rat that I think deserves to be higher-tier, and that's The Giant Rat That Makes All Of The Rules.
There is no way the rat class is anything less than A tier, if not S. Their spawn rates, adaptability, stealth and intelligence is OP. Even if Human players made a point to wipe out the rat build it wouldn't succeed.
Europe and newyork BEEN TRIED
Rats also have the plague bringer ability
@@dantemonterey1507 and Alberta has succeeded...
Matthew Butler we humans can cause a MASSIVE death
Rat mains also almost eliminated 2/3 of the most overpowered class back in the day (black death)
I love the "Echo Fighter" bit.
yeah, that one slayed my sides
what does that mean?
I searched it up and it seems that it is a term in smash that is used to describe a fighter that is a clone of another fighter
Guinea pigs are almost like capybaras, therefore echo fighter
@@completeepicness5070 It's from Smash Bros.
Had a Syrian Hamster main as a support player. Mostly stuck to their base, but a wholesome companion. Miss them
