ive looked at there specs on each website and i think the basic difference is renegade/showhauler have a little stronger/bigger chasis and components but newmar has a little bit nicer interiors. For example you can get a showehauler usually come with a cummins 15 or DD 15 engine but newmar comes with a DD12 engine. but the newmar comes with no carpet on the slides and flush flat floors.
Not even a comparison. Newmar uses the M2 and Showhauler/ Renegade (classic, XL, Explorer, and Ikon) use a class 8 chassis. This Newmar is way overpriced considering it’s on an M2 chassis.
Another great video Andrew. Miss big Tony being with you demonstrating the overhead clearance, or lack there of. Newmar’s quality is above and beyond. I especially appreciate the ease of that rear emergency egress door, so simple. Sweet looking entry stairwell. The large oversized battery storage compartment was well engineered and designed. Safe travels Andrew.
Izzy and Andrew, do you have any concerns that this is the first year Newmar has built a Super C? I'm thinking maybe Renegade is a safer bet at this point since they've been doing it a lot longer. Might wait to see how these Supreme Aires fare over the next couple of years. They do look great, though.
Does any1 make a thin film u can add on inside of windows to give u polarized sunglasses rose colored happy widows? Also yellow shooter night driving windshield film. Or a combo polarized & yellow tint all in 1 filter photograph improved driving?

Glass window above cab is a leak waiting to happen. Give it a few years and some miles. Bad thing is you won't know till you smell the mildew or see the stains...Newmar will drop it in a few years once the complaints start. Otherwise, this coach puts the Super in Super C !
Don't understand why the driver and passenger seat are stock Freightliner leather and not redone by Newmar in a $500k+ coach. Not to mention the whole cockpit is in dire need of a makeover. It has been the same for decades. Other than that, sweet ride.
Yeah, I have to agree about the cockpit. Looks very plain. Interestingly the Renegade cockpits using the Freightliner chassis are quite a bit better looking.

So many very cool conveniences. So many electronic gizmos that could fail! That thing would have to come with a 3-day service guarantee via an approved Nationwide network of service providers. The electrical must be as sophisticated/complicated as a Prevost conversion.
The only thing about these built in cutting boards these days, I mean...is ANYONE actually going to use those things as cutting boards? Have you seen what the average cutting board looks like after time? lol. If I got one of these, those things will remain sink covers ONLY, lol.

Always too much storage for my liking in most of these rigs. Next put in four seat dinette set and get rid of that office look. then its perfect.

This rig is built on a commercial truck chassis just like the one I drive everyday. Not a luxury ride at all. Just a truck with a LOT of expensive lipstick on it.
Oviously not getting power roller shades new rig/unit less than $200k right NOW but more ppl by handle trash bags mom(cheap idot) no1 will hve to not hve handle trash bags soon bc they stop making the cheaper stuff & start mass producing upscale or advance 4k ultra high, or quality stuff. More attension to RV-ing &truck&trailers the much over all universal remote simple stress! proof the experience. It's the little things that make up for little space. RV-ing tail can some case wag the dog.
Take a thin say 1" gas line type conduit, usely a yellow color & bend an arch & 2 end female anchor pnts secured to side of truck hood. It is a que stick. When u hve it right length bend of arch it tells u just right safe distance to car/truck u r behind in front of u. There bumper should b sitting on top of arch. 1 piece of pipe is empty & other piece/length of pipe is full yellow w/black electrical tape (yellow jack it look). This way u can dummy remember to switch it & cars looking to get in front of u can tell if u hve a load on. These r big semi trucks w/ novice drivers so v/RV helpful. Also when tired like truckers get your dummy stick + new radar keeps u in the moment(every sec is precious). U can error your stick or hve extra heavy long 3rd stopping stick yellow w/red & black electrical tape.
I think the appeal to the Class C is the ease of maintenance and accessibility of the engine compartment, the ability to service them anywhere, and the longevity of the unit. I was 100% in the Class A camp, but there are some advantages to the Super C.
I am in the market to buy a $600,000.00 plus RV. However ,the way I was treated at Transwest when they wouldn’t help me with my truck when I had a small problem. Plus the employee looked at me like he wanted to fight me. If you go to theses back water idiots you will regret it.

@@MikeBrownOhio anything above 26,000 GVWR is likely to need a license upgrade in most states. Not always a CDL. Here in TX, we have Class A and B NON-CDL available.

" Honey; find us a nice shady parking place will you? Yes dear! " More money than brains, or common sense!
As a retired OTR Driver I prefer the true Super C's but I have to ask. Will the top tier Class A parks like the ones in Montana, Nevada and Florida like the ones you've been showing us lately allow an owner of a Super C of this level into the parks? Will they also allow an owner of one of these to purchase a lot or lots? Just wondering because I've heard that most Class A parks on that level will not allow Super C's to become a part of their communities...

Newmars are great, but I don’t like the lack of a bunk over the cab. That’s just sacrificing precious space.

I don’t understand the attraction of the super C. They offer nothing that can’t be found in a CL A, and you cannot take it into CL A only resorts.
Safety, easier service, and in many cases towing capacity.
I think an escape door on the same side of the main door is STUPID!!! If one went off the road and onto your side there is no way to.get out.

Still prefer a Class A for the amazing panoramic view you get with a large windshield. Also the quietness of a rear engine. To each its own.

It depends on which state you live in. Some states, I think is 8, require a CDL. Most states do not.

Most buyers drive these and even the big class A rigs with a regular license.
This rig is non CDL.
Some experience driving large vehicles is a good idea but not required.
I'm a Class A driver and saw a newbie Class A owner drive his fancy new rig off the parking lot and into the woods at a truck stop after forgetting to apply the parking brakes!

As a retired OTR Driver I prefer the true Super C's but I have to ask.
Will the top tier Class A parks like the ones in Montana, Nevada and Florida like the ones you've been showing us lately allow an owner of a Super C of this level into the parks? Will they also allow an owner of one of these to purchase a lot or lots? Just wondering because I've heard that most Class A parks on that level will not allow Super C's to become a part of their communities...
From what I’ve seen, the class A resorts will allow super C’s only.
