Mr. Bose, as someone indicated, may not be a greatest Harmonica player but the fact that he is using the cheapest and most ordinary instrument to play the best that he can. His talent may not appeal to some but the circumstances that he is under is sad. To recognize the talent of an underprivileged person is commendable and your radio station does deserve respect for boosting the sprit of Mr. Bose ! Keep up the good work !

You can learn by practicing, this guy is all natural.
I remember having seen him perform in a Mumbai local train. He announced he’s from Kolkata and in dire need of money for feeding his family. Indeed he looked famished. And then he began playing song after song. He’s got everything: speed, timing, chords, tonguing technique and astonishing mastery over the instrument. 50 bucks is all I had in my pocket and I happily gave it to him.
The juice he extracts out of a Tower harp is amazing. I have to struggle to achieve even 10% of that from my Hohner CX12.
I hope the team at Red FM gave him a decent amount of cash apart from the publicity.
May Mr. Ghosh fare well, wherever he is.

Bose playing in all combinations draws blows flats sharps bends all with ease and perfection. No one seen ever played like him. A rare talent. It reminds me a cricket game the bowler bowls a ball- and he himself hits it for runs from the other end! Unbelievable speed and accuracy! He is two in one at the same time a bowler and batsman!

SD and RD Burman would have loved to use his talent in their compositions, unfortunately he happened to come around after their demise. He is the best I have seen in my 70 yrs. I hope this man can be a Ustad figure to the rest of the coming generations. Jai Hind.

I am just learning with a 24 hole c scale tremolo tuned one to play bella ciao and it is definitely way harder than it looks can't any music producer hire this guy for such talent.

Mr. Bose is highly talented player and I appreciate his playing. This is particularly so as playing on a cheap Chinese Harmonica (Tower-?) is indeed difficult as such harmonicas make a player draw lot of breath, which Mr. Bose stated and indicated in the begining, while putting his hands on his lungs area. This is because these and similar other cheap harmonicas do not have 'air controlling reed valves' which are installed in higher ended harmonicas such as professional German HOHNER Chromonicas, Chromettas or Suzuki etc brands, which are very expensive, costing now any thing between Rs.10,000 - 40,000 or more, depending upon the model These professional harmonicas are much easier to play as a lot of breath is saved while playing. Couldn't the Red FM present this talented Artist with some harmonica like that as a mark of appreciation ? Regards.

However, Red FM- who so gracefully brought this 'street' artist to lime light, could have also found out his antecedents and done the needful, may be at a later date and presented him once again to your esteemed audience with a superior mouth organ (present cost-Rs.8,000/- 15,000/-) ???? Nonetheless, your graceful gesture to 'spot' him and make him play at your channel is really very nice and appreciable. How about thinking, 'spotting', and introducing a new 'slot' for such talented Artists and also for those who are now the ''forgotten ones'' on your esteemed channel and also reward them as deemed appropriate ? I am sure your efforts and gesture shall be highly appreciated and become a new land mark in radio programming. Kindly do give it a serious thought. Warm Regards.

I hv heard people playing harmonica, I m not very much into technical ways of playing it but this guy is very different. He is playing with all his soul.I hope he is happy and comfortable somewhere at this moment and for all the time to come.

People use imported Harmonica's of 10-15k and he killed it with 500 rs Tower harmonica, can someone please tell me where he usually plays or located. Would love to meet him and help him in whichever way I can.
