I loved this game. Mostly because I'm an MGS die hard, but also because this game came around when my MGS PS1 disc was either too scratched to be played or cracked. So after MGS2, I missed MGS1 terribly lol. Side note, dude, the Darpa chief/Decoy Octopus and that guard should have scrapped. They had beef for real lmao.
The music sounds very different to the PS version. And oh boy the developers couldn't wait to spoil the liquid snake reveal 11minutes into the game. Real subtle Silicone Knights.

If the musical score was the same would have been a classic minus the Nintendo crap.its like the Disney of games they ruin everything.the audio in this game is really bad

I remember Ocelot stashing a ticking time bomb in snakes equipment that you have to discard once youve escaped the cell and gathered your equipment from the torture room. Did I miss the discard or does it not happen in the remastered version? I specifically remember because a call comes in over the codec explaining the bomb is about to go off if you never discard it.
As far as I remember they redid the voices. Voice actors came in and recorded all of their parts again. A lot of fans don't like this version because characters don't have the same "energy" in their voices as they used to on PS1/PC. Apparently they also changed some of the dialogue and music...
It's not. Most of the changes are horrible. Gameplay got dumbed down and simplified too much. It lacks most of the feel of the original and all the then "mind blowing" fun things of Psycho Mantis. It's a mistake, so no wonder that Konami now rather takes the original for their remaster than this train wreck.
The Enhanced Visuals are welcome, but it's the Matrix Inspired Bullet-time scenes which make this even more dated than the PS1's cutscene physics. they should use those in case of a remake while keeping the graphics here.

Use the chaff grenades first to disrupt Vulcan ravens’s tank then get up close and throw frag grenades I’ve dealt with this guy multiple times 1:40:55
You got use your 🧠 outsmart bosses when you are fighting them exactly use the chaff grenades that's distracting him and use the garnade toss it
That's how you beating I die multiple times but I used 🧠 figure out
