What was your most played game of 2023? Why TYPE of game found its way to the table most? For us, it definitely felt more like those quick card games were our go-to, but that wasn't always the case!
Great video! I have also heard a lot of people talking about Trio/Nana. In a similar vein, my top game last year was Shot In The Dark, which is a $10 trivia game, but I keep it at work and my work team plays a little every single day. We keep a running scoreboard. If it's getting a little late in the day and we haven't played yet, people start getting antsy: "Where is the trivia? Let's go!" I also keep Skull at work and we bust that out sometimes. By far though, Shot in the Dark has been the best value for the money of any game I own.
It helps that a bunch were those small games, but I’ve also got one day a week where I’m home alone that I can dedicate to a bunch of solo plays too :). Here’s to hitting 1000 again this year!
635 plays in 2023 … 31% online … 219 different games … I use BGStats as well ! Top 5 plays for 2023: 5. Tie 13 - The Castles of Burgundy & Scythe 4. 14 - Obsession 3. 17 Carnegie 2. 25 - Ark Nova 1. 34 - Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory
Great play count. I have played 519 plays in person in 2023. If I include online and BGA I am at 1121 plays total. Majority of BGA is always async for me

I appreciate you keeping the distinction between online and in person games.
You’re welcome! :)
Totally agree about Tapple. We play it frequently. Others that hit our table often include The Game and Camel Up.
The solo game tray is a great idea!

Honestly, a few of us love trivia, so I’m looking into this immediately. Thank you for sharing!!
Dang. 1001 plays and 71% were in person. That’s insane and amazing. Really enjoying the videos you’re putting out. They feel fresh

NICE! 34 plays of Hegemony is quite the feat
@@Tablenauts this game is soooo good. Great asymmetric, geo-political, social-economic game
Doolin- let’s play a game of root on the app sometime!
Where did you get that copy of “terrified”?
A friend of ours was willing to sell it to me for a hefty price 😂. It’s awesome! We show it off in another video if you want a closer look!

48% of plays were on bga. So a pretty even split. 2024 isn't off to a great start regarding physical plays. But we will see how it goes!
So many plays! I love it
@@malvinafis6907 I’m sure it’ll get back to normal sooner rather than later :)
