What a special moment and something I’ve been wanting for for so long, and am now craving so much more of …😭 Naruto and his father… damn. I’m also so impressed with Naruto in these episodes. How he is handling Pain, and showing so much growth. 🔥😭
Naruto Uzumaki is the GOAT. You finally understand and there is so much more to come from him. If people learned a little from Naruto the world would be a better place.
Naruto literally figured out the answer to world peace(understanding/forgiveness). This is why Naruto is a lot of people's Bible. When you comprehend Naruto's literary wisdom as comparable to religious books, it all makes sense. Kishimoto himself said Buddha's story is the inspiration from Naruto's personality and path. Naruto has tons of buddhism reference and "forgiveness" is not just Jesus' main teaching but also Buddha's. Yes these are all legit Kishimoto's super deep Ancient Eastern Philosophy core wisdom put into the story. Those eastern philosophies have been studied by ancient people for thousands of years, while the west studied physical science into atomic science, eastern philosophers studied the human mind and psyche for thousands of years before the bible. Eastern mysticism wasnt about literal gods or devils, it's all symbolism of the human mind and human psyche and all the archetypes within our mental science. In today's modern term it's called "Cognitive Science", they even teach it in MIT.
This is why Naruto is loved by many fans, this is masterpiece storytelling, and that's why a lot of the fans loved the Naruto pain ark, just a storytelling that's relatable, this is what Disney and marvel lost touch with the people can I make a movie you cannot tell a story in mango in magazines without making a story relatable, that's why Naruto is Love by billions of people, and yes don't be ashamed of crying this particular Arc everybody that reads his ark started crying and it still makes me cry every time I listen or read it😊
Shikaku is easily one of my favourite characters in Naruto, he’s so chill, calculated and knows exactly what to say and how to handle every situation Best dad 🥰
One of my favorite fights in anime. A battle of students of the same master, a battle of ideologies. And it’s a culmination of all of Naruto’s big fights prior. Everything from his training under Kakashi and Jiraiya, his cleverness with the Shadow Clones, mastering the Rasengan and Sage Mode, and his struggles with the Nine Tails taking over, was brought to this battle against Pain.
The Pain arc truly is Naruto at its PEAK of peak-ness. Really, it defines Naruto like no other event has up until now, and will have lasting ramifications for the rest of the story. In a way, to stand in front of your enemy, someone you hate with all of your being because of what they did, and to say "Hey, tell me your story", that is truly the first step in finding peace. Find out your enemy's story, understand them and their Pain, and perhaps then the cycle of hate could stop. THERAPIST NO JUTSU!
Naruto's talking to Nagato is one of the most profound conversation among animes IMO. It really changed me. Love the message from Kishimoto the writter ❤
Haven't even seen the reaction but he is talking about when kurama gets mad talking to pain and leaks Chakra out while naruto is in sage mode. The two power linked together and mellded inside naruto successfully which was surprising to say the least
Talk no jutsu 101... Naruto doesn't use talk no jutsu to avoid defeating his enemies... He beats his enemies, then uses it to avoid killing them and convert them
4th Hokage entry literally Goosebump Minato one of the coolest Hokage Yellow Flash one of my favourite Character He believes in Naruto he's his son after all that's was father's will do and he also believes of what Jiraiya Sensei tolds him, he's a nice and cool guy too what a wholesome moment. Yeah really proud of Naruto right and he never gives up! 🔥
Naruto meeting his father always gets me and probably always will. My own father never gave a ahit about me. Unless it was anger, screaming, and hitting I never got the time of day from him. So seeing a kid who didn't have a dad meet his father and to see the unconditional love a parent is supposed to show is always a bitter sweet thing.
Look when I say that Naruto is my favourite anime people say that's basic but honestly, this series taught me so much about who I was and who I could be. It literally saved my life, and I will always hold a special place in my heart for this series. I learnt how to forgive, how to never give up. I just wish I could watch it all for the first time again. But watching someone else go through that experience is a pretty good subsitute so thank you for making this series.
Episode 168 is in the Top 5 of my favorite Naruto episodes! I was waiting for you to get here, seeing how you love Minato as well! He is my favorite character in Naruto❤️
Naruto and Tanjiro from Demon Slayer are my favorite shonen anime protagonists because part of what makes them special and allows them to change the worlds they live in is their empathy. Both of them struggle with it sometimes and they grow as individuals along the way, but that empathy frequently allows them to change the hearts of their allies and enemies by example
Naruto meeting with Pain always reminds me of Troy, where King Priam goes to Achilles to get his son's body. Both protagonists raised in a war-torn world, knowing nothing but violence, hate, enmity facing their enemies, and sharing a little moment of peace.
My connection with this show got super deep when i found similarities in my life with what has happened to these characters. Naruto's loneliness and deeply appreciating them. Sasuke's brother i find the hatred and pain i received from one of my brothers and the true itachi is the love i had looking up to my oldest brother. Or the moment Naruto regrets not talking to Sasuke when they were very young because he was shy so he stuck with his rivalry. I feel like there are so many moments in this show fans can find what they've been through. Its beautiful.
Hurt people hurt people, everyones understanding of pain is different you're 1st pains vs multiple pains are different but it still hurts, this is where understanding and compassion is key as we all have our first pains. Looking outside of ourselves is the way to start the healing.
His “I’m the son of the 4th I can handle it” hits sooooooo hard, bro immediately puts on the crown and basically acknowledges that he has no excuse for any failure that he might face. And him laughing when he realizes he’s his son, his face changes, he thinking how he was treated, prolly thinking “I’ve been royalty this WHOLE time”
Naruto laughing is more likely to be disbelief or hysterical given how much has been thrown at him in such a short time. I’d imagine being an orphan and meeting your dead dad after losing your father figure and your teacher and having your home blown up and almost turning into a demon would be a lot to process for anyone
I wish I could go back to the time when I first learned that the manga goes ahead first, and I can't wait for the next episode so I read it and watched it again on anime. That was so nostalgic. Also, I hope you can watch the movies too, esp the 4th and 6th movie. There are so many moments with Minato there and their dynamic as son and father was so special. Great job on making this far. It's not the end yet for great things. ❤
Pain makes Naruto growth so fast and now his a completely different Person💯❤️❤️🙏🙏 This Arc has everything that anyone can look for just unbelievable.💯❤️❤️👏👏👏
Arguably the best arc of the whole show, so much planning, so much foresight and clever insight from the characters, so much plot quality, climax just hits different and the ending gives a strong sense of fulfillment
The whole pain arc sums up our world in a nutshell. A WORLD OF LOVE CAND EXIST WITHOUT HATE. Hurt people hurt people. Revenge brings out cycles of hatred.
Many agree that Shikamaru is Naruto's actual best friend, and I'm of course one of them. Shikaku is goated for the support he showed to Naruto, the Nara clan is full of goat people
Kishimoto initially didn't plan on ever putting Naruto's parents into the story like this. Mentioning the Fourth Hokage by his title sure, but he never planned to reveal for certain that he was Naruto's father, and certainly didn't intend to put him in the story beyond mentions and the flashback story centered about Kakashi getting his Sharingan. Becoming a father himself is what changed his mind.
This arc is truly peak among peak, there's not much else to say. There's a handful of later things that I also can't wait for you to see, but this is definitely some of the best.
Finishing the last Pain with the move he learned from Jiraiya was nice writing. Also, after Jinwoo's dad and Naruto's dad, I kinda get the feeling there's some daddy crushing going on. Haven't seen it, but did this also happen with daddy Ichigo?
Naruto gets to meet his dad thats a dream come true :) and what a perfect reaction punching him in the gut :D so now we got 3 people claiming Madara was behind the 9-tails attack, guess he gets outvoted :) Naruto outsmarted PAIN with good old Shadow Clone jutsu he really is the best in the world at that :D damn Sakura got the exclusive front row seat with Hinata, jealous xD love how Naruto is trying to understand everything and wants to connect with PAIN, pushing himself so hard even if he might not be obligated to go through such extremes, fighting against his basic desires to get revenge, makes him a true hero :) Shikaku still the best dad :) time for Naruto to truly master the art of diplomacy :D and also show true strength :)
Last couple of updates, I had to watch on my phone, which has a small screen so I had to rely on memory for everything being said in the show (I know some Japanese, but most of it was memory), because I was in the hospital. Now that I'm out, I'm glad I have my laptop again so I can properly watch along. The Naruto franchise has way better writing than people give it credit for. Sure, there are cliches and tropes and stuff. Sure, there are characters and moments that I wish had gone differently. But as a whole, it's such a good story.
This is it. The infamous "Talk no Jutsu" is actually the main theme of this whole story - conflict can only be solved by mutual comprehension, not by direct confrontation. If one hates Talk no Jutsu, then Naruto isn't a story written for them.

Cool thing that should be taken into account is that Minato said he only sealed half of the nine tails inside of Naruto, and to think how powerful that is. Imagine if Naruto had the whole fox sealed inside him, and how powerful he would've been. How past battles where Naruto used/ succumbed to the fox's power, how differently they could've turned out if he had the whole fox
I want to preface this by saying this arc is a 10/10. I think it's pretty comical that Tendo Pain tanked all those hits from the Nine Tails only for him to be taken down by Naruto's basic rasengan. That being said, I still love that episode "Planetary Devastation".
27:40 Its not that kyuubi isnt compatible, I think it was more Naruto was letting Pain see the amount of hatred and pain he has in him, yet hes still trying to do the right thing. But maybe im worng and it is just Kyuubi rejecting his control
Imagine being the 9 tails. 16 years ago you get freed and almost get out for good then get sealed into a baby. Have to wait 16 years , slowly leaking chakra and taking over more and more and then his chance finally comes to get out and a fucking ghost of the guy who sealed you shows back up and does it again 😭😭 poor guy thought he was home free
Shikamaru is Naruto's true friend, when everyone hates and avoids Naruto, only Shikamaru and Chouji are willing to play with Naruto since Naruto was a child until now,.,.
Your last comment on anime is how I feel about manga. Sure there's anime that's better than the source material like AoT, Demon Slayer and JJK, but there's so many that have a bad/mediocre adaptation or don't have one at all
It would have been interesting to see Gai find out about Kakashi'a death and have him flip on Pain, too. Like have Gai fight Tendo Pain while Naruto hunts down Nagato.
It takes a long time to fall off per se, but these episodes are the peak of Naruto and possibly the peak of shounen. I still hope you enjoy the rest of the series ofc! This arc is just so special
Naruto needs to visit each place that lost every single good and/or innocent person at the hands of the Leaf village and all of the 5 great nations then he will understand a bit of why he will continue to fight the ninjas of the past for eternity
Remember that was only half of the nine tails chakra! Pain would have a much harder time defeating him. But If pain was in his prime....that could change things too.

"Give up one me giving up" is such a classic naruto line. Bro just never gives up xD
When Minato said Pain is just being used by Madara it all clicked on him about "understanding" Pain.
Naruto's talking to Nagato is one of the most profound conversation among animes IMO.
