Wow this is good to see. That's how they got that top speed then using 3s. We assumed it was due to the older esc being faster than the new wltoys switched to. This explains how they got that speed in the picture they sent me but I don't think Sia had any clue that was done using 3s. They need to state on Amazon and on the box that this speed can only be achieved using 3s and as you said it isn't advised to use 3s for long or you'll possibly have an issue as you did with a gear stripping or even the esc which at only 25a held up surprisingly well though who knows how long that would last. Awesome job Robby!
I don't own a 3s that's small enough to fit in this buggy. All of my 3s are for larger drones but I have 2s packs galore. I didn't want to be a small 3s pack just for this purpose but maybe I should have. Lol thanks again for doing this test.
Thanks Ryan! I totally appreciate your perspective on this. Glad we feel the same way! I’m going to make it a goal to get a lot of these companies to stop deceiving its customers when it comes to this. The only way to do it is exposure and calling them out! Really thank you Ryan for all your support brother! Take care my friend!🤘🏻👊🏼😊
I saw Jeff at 413RC run his yesterday on 3S and was surprised the esc held up on his since you said Rlaarlo mentioned to you it was only a 25A ESC. Maybe I should give it a crack and see what she will do here Down Under 🇦🇺😄👍
I’ll have to check out his video and seeif he had the same results. Hopefully no spun diffs like what happened to me in the grass after top speed testing😝! I had run it the night before to make sure it could handle it and had no issues with anything not even range issues. In this test it was very windy which was raising havoc with transmitter range. Thick grass ground up the gears inside the rear diff pretty quickly. Thanks for watching brother. Good luck with your test as well!✌🏻👊🏼😊and cheers🍻!
WOW 40mph is fast! that's like the best speed test spot nice and smooth and straight lines you can follow! They always say they are faster than they are I find also.
Yeah it does. Gear inside rear diff stripped just enough to not mesh under load. Thick grass and the extra power did it in! Gonna order one today hopefully. Thanks for the great comment Brother!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👊🏼😊🍻
I ran mine with 3s and stripped the gears as well. I do know the 144001 diffs will fit so you can fix it. The out drive cups are a bit longer but it does work 👍🏻🍻
That is really fast for a little buggy! Sucks it ate up the diff but I am not terribly surprised, something was bound to let go under all that power and load in the grass. I hope they have decent parts availability.
Hey thanks Addam! I should stayed on the track😝😂! There was a voice in my head telling me to not to, but I didn’t listen😝… always gets me in trouble! On a good note, there’s plenty of parts availability for this through Rlaarlo and Amazon as well. Another good thing is parts can exchange or swap out with WLtoys 144001. Totally appreciate both you watching as well as the great comment! Have a great week brother!👊🏼😝✌🏻😊🍻
@@BangForYourBuckRc it still seems like a good buggy overall and impressive speed out of it on 2s so it would be a fun ride anyway! Good to know parts are not hard to find!
Nice testing Robbing; 41 mph is impressive! Though with 3s you’re bound to run into issues!😬 Hopefully you get it patched up quickly; nice work brother!👍😊
It’s all good Jeremy. Gonna order a rear diff for it tonight! I was more worried about the esc and or motor burning 🔥 up. The motor and esc were mildly warm. And that was after about 15minutes of full throttle and a lot of run always (which never happened the night before on 3s) was so windy that I thought the wind was blowing the signal around. Could of been the 3s messing with it?? Anyway, it’s nothing I recommend doing on a steady basis that’s for sure. Thank you buddy for your great comment. I certainly hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!✌🏻👊🏼🍻😊
Hey I have this car I run mine on 4s with the stock batteries that came with it with the parallel connector and that thing is a blast I don’t make videos yet maybe I will easily 45 mph maybe more
Wow! 😲Yours came with a parallel adaptor? That’s a new feature they must be adding in . Haven’t heard of any coming with this. That’s an impressive speed. You should share that on RUclips when you can! Awesome!👍🏻😊👊🏼
@Bang For Your Buck Rc Reviews, My shocks are not working very well they aren't holding the car up enough have you had this problem and did you put different shock oil in the shocks to fix this. If you did could you tell me thicker shock oil I could use. I don't know if you can tell but I'm new to this rc hobby and I don't know much about shock oil and stuff.
@Bang For Your Buck Rc Reviews, Instead of 2200mah 3s battery would it be better for the motor and esc if you used less mah than 2200mah like maybe a 1800mah 3s battery and by going lower with the mah, would that make the speed go down under 40mph and is there a cooling fan that would fit into the esc plug and on the motor?
Hey Noah, thanks for watching and thanks for the great question. Using a lesser mah (mili amp hour) battery is really only going to generate less run time. The performer would stay the same, unless you change the “c rating” or output discharge rate. If you go down in “c rating “ the car will go slower than with a higher rating. One way going down in mah will help is the over all physical size of the battery. A 2200 mah 3s shorty pack will be slightly longer or thicker than a 1500 mah 3s shorty pack battery. If both have the same c rating, then there speeds comparatively will be about the same. Hope I didn’t confuse you!😵💫😊 Oh and yes you can get an esc fan and motor fan for this on Amazon, but you would have to make sure you have the correct plug for it to plug into the 2 in 1 esc receiver box. I believe it is a reg 2 pin light port but, I’m unsure if it’s size measurement.
@Bang For Your Buck Rc Reviews, Would a fan help alot with the esc and motor getting too hot 🔥. Would the fan help with the diff and other parts from getting stripped?
@@noahpierce4191 A fan would only help out the esc and motor. Diffs may go from too much power on. 3s. With 2s you shouldn’t need a fan on motors and Esc inless you are running it through several packs without letting it cool down a bit. Hope this helps!👍🏻
Nothing wrong with 41mph! You could kill someone at that speed!! 😲😲😲😲 These companies have been misleading the top speed for a long time.... starting with Traxxas in the 90's. Fun watching the FPV view!
Thanks Carmine! I appreciate your comment! Your right. But it’s got to stop. I’m gonna call them out as much as I can from now on! They should not get away with it. How are things going for you. Hoping and wishing you the best my friend!🙏🏻👊🏼😊thanks for the comment!

I recommend not going balls out in the grass!😝👊🏼those rear diffs didn’t like it much with all that new power!

Still homeless 😪 Not much hope here, but we're trying. Still waiting for that Miracle....
So u don't recommend using a 3s
This can run on 3s , but where this esc is only 25amps, I wouldn’t recommend doing it too long. Thanks for the comment my friend!👍🏻🍻
Also hang tight as Rlaarlo is soon coming out with a brushless version of this that is 3s capable👍🏻😊
