  • During Expedition Silk Road Stories, we had the privilege of meeting the highly talented students of the Leif Larsen Music Center in Karimabad, Hunza. One evening, we got together in Bagheera and drove up to a mountain ledge above the Hunza valley. The guys broke into traditional melodies from Hunza, while down below the valley glistened in the late afternoon sun. A unique way to experience music. I couldn't help but think how unique the cultural traditions in Pakistan are. If only more people knew this side of our story.
