In India we got cable TV in early 90s and the first ESPN US football game was the Cowboys with Troy Aikman as the QB. He is the reason why I became a NFL Fan. Awesome to see this interview
Never a fan of the Cowboys. I actually can't stand them but Troy Aikman was and still is a class act. One of my favorite qbs to watch back in the 90s .
@@sithlord7530 No just Philadelphian ;-) as am I (grew up in area). Agree with richard c, Troy was as a great QB and clearly one of (if not) the best NFL color commentators out there (but no love loss for Dallas). I'll throw in another good one at the job Phil Simms another Eagle's nemesis, but respect his work.
I saw Burrows parents being interviewed this morning and I know now why he is such a great young man. With that talent and confidence he will go far if he stays healthy. But. I am pulling for Matt Stafford to finally get a ring. Stafford never once complained when he was in Detroit. A real pro.
The last great QB the Cowboys had. Troy next to Brady is my all time favorite. Whats wrong with the Cowboys is coaching plain and simple. Mcarthy is not the answer but Sean Peyton is. Great interview with one of the greats.
In my opinion what is wrong with Cowboys is the GM/Owner/sometimes coach is a detriment to the team. If he would butt out and just be an owner things would be better.
I agree 100% Troy, I am fully in favor and am trying to get support to rename the Lombardi to the Tom Brady Trophy, after all the guy has won more of them than anyone else. So why not name it after him being that he is so tied to it. And it would signify just how unprecedented his career was. And that is in no way throwing shade or disrespect at Coach Lombardi.
Brady needs his own award but I think it needs to be much more difficult to achieve. Maybe if you win 3 Super Bowls within 4 or 5 years and become a dynasty it’s the Tom Brady Award I dunno.
I like Troy but have to disagree Cowboys are a well coached team, i.e. last play of their season, don't even know the basic rule of ref touching the ball. Time management is coaches fault, it's been McCarthy's problem all of his career.
I agree but at this point the problems are within the organization. I actually like McCarthy as a coach compared to Garrett. These problems we see today are nothing new in the organization. I've seen it since 1996. Wide receivers not getting the ball, drama in the wide receiver area, and when coaches want to discipline players or cut their playing time due to non productivity Jones comes in to say you have to start them since I'm paying them all this money. Those are some of the problems. How do we fix them? I'm not sure either. When McCarthy came in everyone was hyped that were going to The Superbowl because it's McCarthy and He's going to change everything. I thought it was a good hire and he has the right to work himself out of this situation. But if his last playoff appearance in was in the 2016 season and Aaron Rodgers wasn't able to pull off a post season show up. Prescott probably won't be able to do it either under McCarthy. Now Sean Payton. It's not going to happen. Even if it did happen will Sean Payton be Sean Payton? I'm not sure if Jerry Jones wants to give up complete control He wants to do things his way he wants the media attention he likes stirring up drama. It's good for some coaches because they're not in the spotlight all the time but also bad because the organization is in the spotlight all the time.
In 1991 SB halftime show Dr Dre viciously picked up Dee Barnes by the hair and repeatedly slammed her head against a brick wall while his bodyguard held witnesses at gunpoint
Zak needs to answer the question - how do you always bottle it at the end the common factor for the team is alwayd you as the QB but no media has the stones to ask that one.
Cowboys, NFC east, best regular season record. Point me towards a stat that means something. NFC east sucks. Tell me about Aaron Rodgers stats in the NFC north.
Brady should have waited till summer. Not saying he shouldnt retire...just wait an appropriate time to see if the itch isnt there. I personally think he is going to struggle staying away from the game when the season gets closer. Manning had no choice. Brees really had no choice with the ribs and arm. Brady does have a choice sort of like Barry Sanders or Brown but Brady lives for the grind.
Good players thay actually went and drafted a Superbowl team through draft and free agents and trades and if they don't win then what was the ALL IN line for it would be a failure for the Rams and it will prove that Stafford doesn't have it, this is a big game for both Stafford and the Rams it's actually win or bust
Brady only lead the league in yards, attempts/completions, and TDs. The fantasy numbers are not every stat. He didn't throw the fewest amount of interceptions. He didn't have the best passer rating. I can list more things he didn't lead in, which is more than what he did lead in.

This is a dope comment
I’m such a Troy Aikman fan. He brings such great perspective when he speaks.
So smart
Troy Aikman a true professional in every way.
No he's not. Guess you didn't hear the hot mic comments between him and Joe Buck bashing over half of Americans.

I'm not sure why some Cowboys fans dislike it when Aikman calls our games. I like it when he does because he tells it like it is.
I wish Aikman was this fun to listen to during games. For all his accomplishments, he seems so down to earth in interviews.

Super Bowl MVP Award would be a good thing to be named after Tom Brady 😉
I love Aikman! Forever my quarterback!
Great interview guys, really enjoyed this one!🎧

I enjoy listening to Troy 😎
Tom Brady's draft debacle proves that the one thing all the analytics can't measure is heart and inner desire.
All time great. Troy is amazing
bring that beer to california. many cowboy fans out here, especially LA and we love to support ur beer.
Rich is a class act !
Troy, your a legend. Love ya bud!
"we know Jerry is a smart guy"
I dont know that no
He’s the problem
It's the new era of the NFL. The era a QB changes teams, makes it the super bowl in their 1st year there, and play in their home stadiums.
Live in Florida but I’d buy that beer Troy !
I hope I can buy that beer in Illinois soon!

@@leekelley4160 Bradshaw won four Super Bowls in a six year span. Brady never did that. Three in six is the best he did.
How about calling a jockstrap a brady? If they implement Brady into the man of the year I will be pissed! That is Walter's award.
Is 8 beer going to be for sale at Cowboys Stadium lol
We want EIGHT beer in Kentucky!
Now that they pointed out the blue squares, I can't unsee the 8 anymore lol

Dude that pitch was perfect!
troy is great!
Troy's beer versus Drew's wine? I'll take the wine any day.
Joe Burrow's a killer quarterback and Henry Ruggs III a killer receiver.
Giants fan. But Troy Is the only Cowgirls QB I respect. A HOF great and the last great QB the Cowgirls had.
*Roger staubach has entered the chat*
@@nickcoker4293 Roger played in the 70s and Troy in the 90s. The 90s is recent hence is why I said Troy is the last great Cowgirls QB.
I hope Rich got a driver to go home today.
Hi! just stepped in to say FTA!
Troy, drop back and throw. Money........🤷♂️
gonna have to buy some of that beer for my son... he likes trying different beers
Had FOX employed RES Consulting, they would still have Troy and Buck!!!

That sounds like a better beer than Michelob Ultra...
Aikman a prototype QB
BOSS.
A beer under 3 carbs is interesting. I bet it tastes like Molsen lol
Why do you have a helmet from 2 years ago representing the Rams?

Mistake free football isn’t fair to say with as many pick 6s as he’s thrown this season. I love Stafford being from Detroit, but let’s be honest here.
Lmao....Brady has more playoff wins with the Bucs than the Cowboys have had in 20 or 25 years. True story.....
Lol...I think Brady has more Super Bowl wins than the Cowboys have playoff wins in that stretch
@@jcrammfan82 Brady has 5 wins at Tampa,Cowboys 3 in 20 years
Cowboys fan and huge Aikman fan. Disagree with “well coached team” comment. Cowboys led the league in penalties.
Did Troy forget about spygate?
When the camera and lights were off, Rich quietly told Troy that 8 beer actually tasted like mule urine.
I doubt it, it's probably more similar to a Bud Light with better flavor
Sad, Stattford wasted 9 years in Detroit.
That's my Quarterback

No I'm not interested in drinking his beer. He has enough money. Why should I contribute to his earnings?
if the cowboys wanna win bring in D. Wattson and i dont care if Jerry is the coach lol
Troy Aikman is great, but let's not believe for a second that the way the game ended was at all the referee's fault...
Has Troy aged LOL?
the cowboys had a good record BECAUSE they were in the worst division in the NFL.
Troy is peddling healthy organic beer, what crap.
I was the 500th like… I’m kinda a big deal
i said it a few years ago and ill say it again Dak Sucks , until the cowboys get a good quarterback they will never win a championship or super bowl
Dallas = Rams. Constructed the same way and the game came down to clock management and coaching.
10 months later. Brady doesn't seem like such a great QB or dad. 🤷♀️
Aikman the most overrated Quarterback in NFL history.
Look at what Stafford did to Detroit. they'd paid him so much they couldn’t field a team. Now he’s a super bowl winner ?
So undeserving of the credit. Where would he be if the team didn’t buy a bunch of top players? Oh yeah, Lions all over again
Most overrated QB ever

Rich is such a creep.
Tampa didn’t do anything Troy just said it did… defense won that Super Bowl, not Tom. Per usual for his career.
