    Do you prefer Dark Theme in Revit?
    More importantly would you prefer to see my Revit tutorials and courses in Light or Dark Theme?

      I welcome Dark Mode, but why doesn’t it apply to the dialogue boxes (Type Properties and others )?

      Thats not dark mode 😂😂😂😂😂😂 of course revit half bakes a feature just to label in the new release. so much is still white. Its not dark mode

      For work, dark is better. But for your tutorials, I think white would be much clearer

      Windows dialogue are still white. I think they will update to the rest. At least, I'm start being happy with this dark theme. Even it's not fully dark yet.

      You always had it!. Its called shape edited floors. It does exactly the same thing, haha

      @@OleDr I'm not interested horrible workarounds;-) But you are right, it's similar and it was easy for the programmers to solve the problem by using on-board resources.

      @@baenzifly No one is talking about workarounds. Im telling you that if you wanted topo to work like this, then you already had it in 2023 with the floor command. The previous toposurface tool was better though.

      I think with the subscriptions the one benefit is it more accessible without it being a hacked version, so their is a higher traceable demand and allows them to improve their products at a better pace compared to when it was buy or hack only

      @@52thephotoshop I agree, but not everyone could afford the $8-15k it costed to own, as well as you would still have to pay to upgrade to the newest version. It is much more accessible now

    I don't know why...but I don't like the new dark theme...don't get me wrong. I do the dark theme on all the programs and devices that I use, but as for Revit, I prefer it to remain on the white style... because this is what will appear in the final paper, whether printed or PDF

      totally agree. after working in ms dos with black background for 50 years, then another 50 in hell with Autocad on black background with pink and purple lines, then finally we moved to black lines one white background like the final product when revit came along. So it's totally not understandable to me how anyone would want to go back to that horror autocad look and feel.

    Great video. Thanks very much fr putting this together. I know I'll most likely be using the white canvas because I think it will be better for when I have a 3D model showing. Which is almost all of the time.

    we need freeform scope boxes, we could adjust the height for the past couple versions. Ive also made my own dark theme prior to this update but glad its baked in now. But thank god the the updated topo. Great videos btw!

    1st. THNX for the video B.A. scope boxes. why - still - not possible to adjust the width and depth parameter of the scopeboxes??? only the height?? this issue exists for many years now. FIX it AutoDesk. how much longer do we have to wait?! 🤨 and for your question, Light Theme works better.

    Export the Power Apps, Copilot, Chat GPT, Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Inventor, ENGI file of the Building or Refinery to Excel, prepare Budget 1 and export it to COBRA. Prepare Budget 2 and export it to Microsoft Project. Solve the problems of Overallocated Resources, Planning Problems, prepare the Budget 3 with which the construction of the Building or the Refinery is going to be quoted.

    Amazing how autodesk raise us well. They gave us few minor "improvements" ( fixes) for a load of money and we are all impressed. Come on guys. I am waiting for 50% sale for new release, this improvement will impress me personaly. Maby the price for America is not expensive, but there are other countries in the world.

      The fact that dark mode makes the top three “best new features” on many Revit 2024 videos says it all.
      There are so many ‘low hanging fruit’ updates that they could have picked from the Revit ideas forums which would have been more fruitful

      @@AussieBIMGuru Why do I need Dynamo to complete such a basic operation that ALL CAD software were capable of doing ....30 years ago. And apart of Dynamo what else ....Why that simple line cannot be finished with a dot or arrow like in Archicad....Dynamo too?

    Why I do export the IFC files from revit 2023 to 2024 always the geometric cannt correct, i select Part, not original, the ifc converter not good for last version?

    Have you tried the Beta MODFLOW plugin? It's incredible with the incorporation of Model result analysis and visualization. Epic Games came to my firm to show 100 year flood scenarios at exisiting structured and drawn. The stress loading factors were spot on with our calcs.

    Why can't we copy/monitor beams?
    Why would we partially copy/monitor the structural system?
    It's past time for Autodesk to put one more tab (beam) on this tool! There are several complaints on the Forum, but they do not read!

    We need more structural update.
    I prefer designing drawings on REVIT but it lacks some structural features that other softwares provide and that makes me so mad...

    That Twinmotio link doesn't work so well. E.g. light positions are not synced, with the TMO lights all clustered in the same place. Trees still don't get auto translated, as they do in Enscape.

    This is great but as a bim certified software : Come on Autodesk ! Moove on on your IFC mapping and user-friendly UI and give every keys to your users for managing their data ( And not only entity and ObjectType... BuildingSmart is nearly IFC 4.3.1.0 and it's still a nightmare on software to link everything)
