The best cover out there that I have heard! Keep posting amazing videos especially more Rush and the Police. Would love to see you cover The Trees or Bombs Away!
Thanks! It's a TAMA Stewart Copeland Signature snare, but with a different batter hoop so I can mount it on the Air Ride stand. I use a REMO coated Emporer head too (double ply, drier sound) and crank it pretty good.
Mine is a Tama, and I completely recommend it, even the beginners line- they are a very high quality set with excellent hardware too. Other than Tama, Pearl, Ludwig, Mapex- all the name brand have similar entry level kits that are good to start with. Mine actually is the entry level Tama Rockstar DX kit, from 94. I've beat the SHIT out of it and never had an issue.
Thanks! Yeah the camera is an older one that has pretty poor image quality in today's standards. Most of my cymbals are Zildjians- A customs and Z customs, the hats are old Sabians, the ride is a vintage A medium ride I had resurfaced
ya u should use match grip and the cover was pretty good but way too busy... why did you add all those little fills and licks? it seemed more like jamming along with the song rather than playing Neil Peart's actual drum part
This. I don't care about the grip. Great drumming, but you do NOT need to add to what Peart already has in there. You made it sound too busy with those unneeded fills. Adding drums to Peart is like adding paint to Picasso.
Nice! You look utterly comfortable playing that, amazing, like you could play it in your sleep! Quite a feat for such a complex song.
