Ok Mr. Ryukahr, the destroyer of super expert levels, how about this for a new challenge: you get one skip for every checkpoint you skip.

I'd love that if Infinite had 99 lives, but with 30 lives, by the time you decide to skip, you've already lost too many lives, especially if you have limited skips, and they already cost you lives by avoiding checkpoints.
In short, I don't think it would make much of a difference.
It might be a fun experiment, but what he should really do is just make highscore runs with full skipping part of the lineup. I know it's not as creative as his usual stuff, but it would allow for more fully packed Mario content every other week or so.

With apologies to Ryu, some of those deaths on the powerup speedrun were hilarious. My favourites are 11:13, 11:23 and best of all 14:23 with the commentary about how well that run was going followed by the most epic of fails.

Hidden blocks
Underwater levels
Mario Maker 2's bad ideas that Nintendo knows are horrible and are laughing their ass off at the people suffering through garbage levels:
Wind levels
Upside down levels
Dark levels
Don't leave the ground levels
Id love to see you clear some MM1 levels. Would love to see that game ‘completed’ with all levels cleared

I feel like there’s some catsuit tech to clear those blocks s little faster
I can understand wind, it has some tech to it, like mid airs, you can also build level so wind will help to make jumps, but I feel like you need "custom" wind to actually make good level - so you can make wind go in a specific direction in specific places. Right now it's just annoying to wait before getting wind blow the way you need.
Upside down is just meh...It has no value, no tech, just messes with your brain, it has literally nothing fun in it unless you're this one guy who likes it.

You seem to have figured it out by the end, but long jumping with a star (or cat suit) does you more harm than good for speed.

If you like Troll levels check out CarlSagan42 if you haven't heard of him, he plays mostly troll levels and some of them are so freaking brilliant.
