Great video I'm still baffled how the actual gondolas are attached to the arm just looks like a brace but am I missing something
It seems like the arm and gondola has grooves. And that band has two ridges that goes in to the grooves. That's why they are hammering them on.

How do they make that when the attraction turns (running), the cables of the lights or other motors do not break?
