You always say that the right scale length on your 6 strings bass is as much relevant on the low B as on the high C so produce this model on a high scale basis would make a lot of sense and many happy customers.

Very interested to find out the scale specs.
I usually play 32” medium scale basses in other bands. But bought a combustion for the Duran Duran tribute. I find the extra long scale length produces a great tone. But first position on the fingerboard can be a stretch 😎

A Short-scale Dingwall? Do you mean its a combustion w/ the scale length of a Super J (34.25"), or is it a combustion with a 0.75" shorter than a standard 37"? meaning his E-string @ 36.25"

The scale length of the Ayumu prototype is 34 to 32 inches with 26 frets tuned E to C
